The hotel’s location in the luxurious Um Uthaina Commercial Market, also known as Souk al Dahab (Gold Market), is walking distance from the 6th Circle, only 10 minutes from the old city center and 25 minutes from Queen Alia International Airport. Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
This is a reasonable mid-range hotel, with all facilities in fair order. The inevitable finishing details like tile caulking etc are a tad shabby in parts and there is a strong residual smoking smell in the foyer, but the rooms are very clean and neat, wifi and AC work well and it is in a quiet location. If you could pick this hotel up and move closer to downtown it would be great, but as it stands it is along taxi ride out to west Amman from downtown (at least 8 JD each way) and the area is full of jewellery shops, but very few restaurants. Stay here if you do not mind the travel to & from, but stay closer in if you crave more social activity options. If you are renting a car it is a good option because it is out of the traffic flow a bit.

I love staying in this hotel, as soon as you arrive you feel most welcomed. It is attached to Murphys Irish Bar so its only a 30 second walk for nice food and drink. The rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you need. Highly recommended

Excellent accommodation, comfortable beds, every day two bottles of water for free. Although the dining room seems small it is lovely with TV where you where you can watch current news. For dinner they serve two main meals only but very tasty. The speciality are theirs mixed vegetable salads. Around the hotel are the shops and restaurants. Who want to save money for gifts thus he / she can go to big hypermarket Carrefour which i about 1200 m far from hotel. For example 1 kg of dates (first class) costs 2,99 JD.

We stayed here because it was relatively inexpensive and we were prioritizing getting out to Petra. The staff are very friendly here and the breakfast that is included is simple. We did try two different rooms - the twin room and the superior double room. Spending just a little bit more made a big difference and we had a separate living room area, a bigger shower, better shower pressure and more furniture with the superior room. There is a mini bar in the rooms as well that was fairly priced. The first night we got in we asked where to get bottled water and the front staff told us we could just have the bottles in the fridge and was kind enough to offer us a couple of bottles. The hotel rooms could be a little cleaner and the beds were not to our liking but for the price we paid we are happy.
The hotel has an on-site restaurant and bar. Thankfully they close the patio around midnight so you can get a good night's rest. There are a few shops and coffee places nearby.
The hotel is about a 35 minute taxi ride from the airport and offers set prices for taxis and tours depending on where you want to go. Both Uber and Careem are good options in Amman. The hotel takes a 10 JOD deposit which is refundable at checkout. If you prepay for your room, be sure to remind them as they might forget.

We had a good experience staying at this hotel for about 20 days. It served very well our purpose for the trip to Amman. The area is very nice. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. There are food options available. Originally we were told that breakfast started at 8am but they accomodated to earlier as we had to leave early.

Lift was not working. No light in staircase and had to carry the luggage as the reception staff did not help. The room given was smaller than what I had booked as they gave me lower floor room due to lift problem. Stayed only one night so it did not matter much, breakfast was cold and low quality without much option. Only saving grace was omlette

We stayed at this hotel last year for the first time and we loved it. So we decided to stay again this year & as expected its amazing.
When I checked in I remembered Jabr from last year and he is one of the best & professional receptionist I ever met. His welcoming attitude & fast response to our needs is exceptional and outstanding.
The checkin was fast without any delays, the room is amazing with views to a nice street especially at night. Jamal guided me to the suite/room, he is one of nicest staff I met and doubled checked if we need anything and made sure all is perfect.
Everything was clean, the bed is very comfortable and the the morning breakfast is delicious .
This is now our favorite hotel in Amman, we travel at least once a year to Amman and we will definitely be staying here again and again!
The area has everything you need with cool cafes and restaurants just a block away. Um Uthaina area where the hotel is located always gives me positive vibes.

My experience with this hotel was the absolute best! My family and I visited Jordan for the very first time, so we wanted to see and know everything about it. Of course we've looked up the basic things for tourists, but still, we wanted to know about the best places, the best way of transportation etc etc. This is where the hotel came into the picture. We've met the kindest receptionist girl at the front desk, who helped us with EVERYTHING. She was always sooo kind with us, we've never felt like we're a burden to her with our huge pile of questions. She has helped us with pure joy and her recommendations were the absolute best!! Our room was completely fine, had a great view from the window and it was always clean. The design of the hotel is also really modern and fancy! Everybody who worked there was really kind with us all the time, also the breakfast was immaculate! The hotel is in a really good area, you can easily hop in an uber and get in the city center in 15-20 minutes. Also the services of the hotel were quite good and within a reasonable price range.
It was an absolute pleasure, 10/10, I totally recommend it!

Excellent - I cannot fault the Conroy. The room was spacious and cleaned each day. I had my own fridge and safe inside, everything worked. The bar was nice to chill out in of an evening, they have Petra in bottles and local spirit Arak. There is a supermarket and food court over the road in the small mall. An Uber into the city centre is about 2.5 JD and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again for sure. Thank you so much.

I would highly recommend choosing the Conroy for anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Amman. The hotel is situated in a great location close to many spots within walking distance, and close enough to major attractions in Amman you don't have to worry about spending more than a few JD to get any place you need. Omar and the staff are absolutely amazing at making every guest feel as if they are at home during their stay, going above and beyond to answer questions and ensure you are comfortable throughout the duration of your stay. Rooms and facilities are great as well. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, actually good views out your windows as well. I highly recommend staying at the Conroy. Whenever I come back to Amman the Conroy will be my choice to stay.
