Detailed Reviews
Samawer hotel had a perfect location for a first day because there were ATMs and a money exchange bureau all around the hotel.
The rooms were quite big with a living room, a bathroom and a bedroom. There were two one and a half person beds.
It was unpleasantly quiet because we were there in december. The food changed every meal and was quite delicious.
The service was very friendly but the hotel is next to a busy street so if your room is on the wrong side you will hear it.

Hotel located in Amman with nothing attractive around, without commercial area, off-center. Close to a disco certainly because we heard music at night...
Aging hotel. Room and medium bathroom at the level of cleanliness. Correct bedding. No shower mats, we also had difficulty getting toilet paper.
Diversified breakfast but lack of quality, dry pastries, chemical juice.
Meals in the evening often identical, chicken rice has been a constant, often entered the same day on day.

The hotel is of good quality.
The only point of criticism is that the windows are very dirty. But that is a general problem of Jordan because of the sand of the desert area. A window can be opened for a clear view of the street.
The staff is very customer friendly. The breakfast buffets were very varied.
The dinner buffets were also very varied and a wide choice of dishes. There was also a chef who made a special dish with a wok.
The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. A sitting area with a nice chair and sofa. In the middle was the bathroom with a shower and hot water. Only a few places where the filling between the tiles was not good.
But we had a swimming bed in the sleeping area: it was about 3 meters wide with a good mattress.

Very good location
Some of the staff is very welcoming some of them are not at all.
Spacious rooms with very limited amenities.
They claim there is a gym but unfortunately it is not available.
The service is very cheap and the hotel isn’t that clean as they claim. (You can check the photos and see how clean the mug that was placed in my room, and the elevator button)
No reception or any kind of security late night so if you come late you will be sleeping outside because the doors are locked and no one answers the phone (I had to sleep somewhere else because of this matter).
They claim that it’s a 4 stars hotel but you feel like a 2 stars hotel.
I am sorry to write such a review but I really don’t recommend this hotel at all.
This was my worst experience.

+1
A terrible hotel, perhaps one of the worst I’ve ever stayed at……decor dated and awful, plug sockets hanging out of walls, carpets and upholstery worn and threadbare, bathroom in serious need of an update! Breakfast was inedible, save for the plain omelette! How is it even possible to muck up orange juice in a place where oranges are abundant?! Not a great location either….far from down town Amman and many of the good restaurants. Staff were unfriendly and not at all helpful…..verging on lazy I would say! Our stay was so bad we checked out and moved to a different hotel - steer clear of this awful place!

The reception is cold. Spacious room with living room (fridge and TV), bathroom and bedroom. It's not clean. The carpet in the living room and the carpet in the bedroom are dirty, hair is lying around in the shower. For the restaurant it's repetitive and bland. Coffee is rubbish, orange juice is low-end, fruit and yogurt are unknown and for the waiters I don't even talk about it.

What a terrible hotel! It was filthy and very dated. The carpet on the floor was worn and dirty. The bathroom was dirty and on the floor was hair everywhere. It was just filthy and the staff were lazy and sometimes not so friendly. The food was also minimal and the few days we stayed there always the same. Restaurant only opened every day at 8.30 pm before dinner. When we indicated that this was not normal, their reaction was that our travel company had wished it. This was obviously not true!
They said this was a one-time thing. Unfortunately, the restaurant also opened at 8.30pm the next day. Then the guests were asked to take a seat and wait a little longer for 10 minutes. The chef was not ready yet. Full of disappointment from us and from all the other guests, she waited patiently. When it was almost 9 pm we were finally able to scoop up our food. Haas we now had to wait another fifteen minutes for our drink which made the food lukewarm.
All in all, this hotel is not worth your money! Customer is nothing to them. For us never again Samawer Hotel in Amman. The neighborhood was also boring and far from downtown. Outside the hotel you also had few restaurants for such a busy neighborhood.

This hotel is a shame, our tour operator offered us to choose between 3 or 4 stars, we chose 4 stars, well this one should be declassified from this category.
Deplorable welcome, abject food, 3 evenings in a row we had the same fish dish, room not made one time out of 4; All night long
loud noise in the water drainage in the bathroom sink, after asking for toilet paper in desperation some of our group went to buy some outside, when you ask for a bottle of water in the restaurant it is served after a quarter of an hour......
A member of staff is kind and efficient: early in the morning at breakfast.
