The Best Backpacker's Hotel I slept in the dormitories for two nights, the cleanliness of the bed and room was not bad. The beds were extremely comfy and the hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown. I haven't done their daily free tour of downtown, but it appears to be great value for money :). When it comes to communication, the receptionist (Jehad) is the most knowledgeable person I've ever seen, he's impeccable. He organized an amazing trip to the Dead Sea and Madaba for a very reasonable price, and Omar Al Sharkasi was the GOAT to explain and guide. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Amman, particularly those seeking for great value paired with a clean and welcoming tourist destination. P.S. Always ask the receptionist for assistance in planning your trips, especially if you are staying for in Jordan for less than 10 days.

Great local hotel in the heart of downtown Amman
Basic, no frills hotel in the heart of downtown Amman. We're a family of three and had the three beds room booked with private bathroom, and they upgraded us to the four bed with balcony room upon check in. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is very clean. Breakfast is provided every morning with a choice of three options (Arab, meat, or vegetarian). All three options are served with some bread, hummus, jam, coffee/tea. The rooms are very basic with no closets or drawers to put your things. There were i believe, two bedside tables and another larger one as well for your use. No outlets in the bathroom, but the shower, sink, and toilets worked just fine. The location again, cant be beat. Within walking distance of the Roman Theater, Amman Citadel, and plenty of local shopping and dining in the area. The neighborhood alo felt very safe. Just one con - we were charged a 3% fee for paying by credit card which was not mentioned anywhere in Expedia's hotel description. The rate we paid was not much to begin with so the 3% was negligible and i didnt bother making a big deal out of it, especially since they upgraded our room. You're not going to find fancy 4/5 star hotels in downtown Amman, but out of whats available, Jordan Tower is one of the best available. If you are like us, and use the hotel mainly for sleeping, you wont even notice the lack of amenities found in higher star hotels. Highly recommended!

    awesome location
it's a basic hotel, staff are very nice and very accommodating. its centrally located. close to all kinds of shops, the citadel, the roman coliseum, 20 min walk from rainbow street (which is a tourist trap, btw). it gets cold in the room during the winter but they have a heater. wifi upstairs sucks but wifi downstairs is excellent - it just sucks when you're tired and want to rest but have to stay in the lounge for a good wifi connection.

Amazing guide, Ibrahim was very nice and fun and got us to discover the best spots of the various suq of Amman. We could experience, taste and breathe the real Amman. Also the initial information about Jordan and it’s population was very interesting. Very recommended!

Iyad took me on a tour to see the dead sea. It was a spectacular day, he was accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed dancing to some music in the car. Highly recommend Iyad for tours. He can go to other areas on request.

Clean basic hotel but one that really cares about its clients. Although only a one star hotel our stay was extremely comfortable. The inclusive breakfast was really nice and we suggest you book a room with an ensuite. The free walking tour of downtown Amman taken by Orwha was a real eye-opener and he was a perfect guide. (you pay him what do you think it’s worth). The hotel is a stones throw from the Roman theatre and the ancient citadel on the hill. It was very noisy throughout the night however as it was Eid and everybody was out celebrating until the Sun came up.

Stayed with family. Booked family room, but when arrived we got 2 doubles, no stress. Rooms basic, but clean. Breakfast tasty. Location location location is the theme here. Situated in downtown Amman, you couldn't ask for a better located hostel. Lots of atmosphere and character in the area, you won't sleep well with the street noise. Take the free walking tour that starts from outside the hotel. It's close to Citadel. Staff friendly and helpful, plenty of places to eat and shop in the area. In short, it's a hostel

Stayed here for a few nights in early March because they advertised having multiple shared tours leaving daily on their website. They had none for my entire stay. They are of course subject to demand but disappointing to find none in peak season. Especially when other hostels nearby had them available. The noise at night was unbearable and made it difficult to sleep. The windows offer no insulation from the traffic that is honking all night long. Bring earplugs if you want sleep and hope that you hear your early alarm through them. The facilities could do with improvement as well. The bathroom is so small that the shower is hanging over the toilet. The breakfast was ok and the staff were friendly.

We have been staying in hostels for the past several weeks. This place was a disappointment. The beds were small and uncomfortable, the toilet was about to fall off its mounts. And the wardrobe was literally falling apart. It was gingy. On a positive note. One of the staff ( a young Asian lady) kept the rooms clean and was also the cook. Breakfast was basic , but delicious. The desk staff was helpful. Overall the staff did the best with the little they had. The owner needs to step up...invest some money in basic repairs. Some fixes, a coat of paint and a bit of furniture, this place could be really nice

In short, DOWNTOWN is around where everything happens. Clean, friendly, helpful, and no-nonsense basic stay as most of the time was spent out. Comfortable bed. Good basic breakfast. Excellent communication. Everything worked. In the heart and near to historical attractions of Amman. Roman theater 3 mins walk and Cidal is about 800 m uphill. Hotels offer excursions but are not forced upon you and they will only go if there are enough people. Free walking tour: In English. knowledgeable, excellent, funny, and interactive. The group was small (4- made you feel part of a team). Not rushed Shown money exchange places (the rate at the exchange is better here than you would get in your own country and NO FEES), places to eat and buy as well as some history, Lasted for 2.5 hours longer than the 2 hours planned but did not fell like 2.5 hrs. Enjoyed and found it useful.

Not even spend a night in the hotel, but we joined free walking tour with Ibrahim, who took us to the downtown of Amman, especially through the old markets. The tour was full of practical information, so very recommended for your first day in Amman. Ibrahim is great guide and he is so funny! The tour is for free, but Ibrahim is so good, that he deserves a good tip from you!

Very nice hostel. We had a privat room with breakfast included (for about 23 JD for 2 people). The best at this Hostel is the free walking tour. Our guide showed us the local market and let us try some specialities. But be aware that the free parking is not directly at the hostel. All in all: Highly recommended.
