Stayed 2 nights here during my first part of my Jordan trip for 2 weeks. Took cab from airport and it was 22JD. as it was late at night. This is a very new hotel and a boutique one. Room is very comfortable and functionable though not huge. Good shower/fridge etc... Best part was the breaky. Sooooo good in the restaurant. Huge variety of Jodanian food and western food. You can order eggs/omelettes by asking as they are not on the 2 tables with the spread. Good pastries selections, croissants, halawa, dips, veggies, sausges, veggies, etc... and juice and coffee. The staff is great and will get you a cab if you want downtown for 2-3JD (petra app) or just go to main street which is 3 min walk and flag a cab and still only 2-3 JD. So yes it's not right in the haeart of downtown but it's only 2jd to get back so no biggy. There was a Popeyes at the corner if you need western food. That was our dinner the first night we got there at 11pm so only thing open nearby.
Not much to walk around the hotel so you have to cab everywhere. Galleria mall is about 1JD taxi ride away if you need a mall or food court or supermkt.

Hightly recommended. and very resasonable if you don't need to be downtown or want to stay in the big chain 5 star places nearby.

The room layout was great; for our family of 5, we had two rooms connected by a small entryway which could be closed off. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. The hotel itself is well maintained and has a modern feel.
We stayed there on a Friday and a Saturday night. The Saturday night was good, but on the Friday night, we were kept up until midnight by LOUD music coming from the restaurant, which apparently becomes some kind of night club on Friday nights. We were not pleased about that.
The free breakfast was good; the waiter brought bread, hummus, labneh, slices of mortadella, cut up vegetables (cucumber, sweet pepper and/or tomato), and fried eggs to share. This was enough for me, but it was not enough to satisfy my three teenage boys. The waiter was courteous but slightly aloof.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel, except on a Friday night.

The hotel is located 6th circle and just 15 mins taxi away from city centre.

The hotel is modern, clean and spacious. We stayed in a bigger room with basin and it has plenty of space even we have two big suitcases opened on the floor.

Staff are super friendly, esp the hotel manger.

Breakfast is nice and lots of choices. We also ordered pizza from the same Italian restaurant ! Not bad!!

Down side is it is a bit far from downtown, but we are fine with it as uber is cheap and convenient in Amman. Also there are a few 5 stars hotels around the area and hence lots of fine dining choices too.

Would definitely recommend this hotel, totally exceeded my expectation with this price.

As a Korean tour leader I stayed 3 nights with my 22 Korean guests.
As you might guess it is not easy to take care of 22 peopke. but It was possible in the compass hotel because all the receptionist and cleaning team members are anazingly kind and helpful!!!!

They solved all the troubles between taxi driver and me instead of me. and they calked 6 taxies by Uber instead of me, they copied all the passport not only for them but also for my future other hotels check in!!

they changed breakfast time earlier than usual time because of my request!!

Really I visit so many countries’ so many hotels . During this 25 days tour journey I stayed total 11 other hotels.

but I ‘ve never seen this kind of helpful hotel staffs ever.
they were the best among
my 3 countries-11 staying hotels.

they are always willing to help me with anythings.

I did appreciated many times in front of them but still I really want to appreciate again to amazing kind, helpful staffs in the compass hotel.

I hope to see you them again soon!!
Thank you so much you all :))

My stay at the Compass Hotel was excellent. The hotel itself is fairly new and I found the rooms clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for my week-long stay.
The hotel staff was kind and responsive. In my case, they left left no stone unturned to take care of my requests. Big thanks to the hotel manager and staff at the reception and the Forca (restaurant downstairs) for making my stay so memorable and giving me a first glimpse of Jordanian hospitality.
I can say without hesitation that I would pick The Compass again for future visits.

The Compass Hotel is a small, comfortable and excellently located hotel. From Mohamad, the Manger, to Abed from housekeeping - everyone is friendly, attentive and helpful. We had some travel problems which were worked out without a problem and then a lost passport. The staff help us get through all of that and especially the transportation desk that was forever available to help us out. We can't thank them enough for making our stay so enjoyable and pleasant. HIghly recommend it. Many thanks to all of you - and I am not forgetting the manger in the restaurant who took care of our many needs!! Can't wait to see your new addition on my next trip.

We stayed at Compass for only one night at the end of a tour but wish we’d planned on staying there our other nights in Amman. The hotel was stylish and comfortable, the rooms clean and most of all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It was very quiet compared with our experience downtown. The breakfast was great as well!

We went to Jordan for a wedding and used this hotel for part of the stay (rest of time in Dead Sea resort). The hotel was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Good location. Nice choice for breakfast and had lunch three times at the restaurant.
