We travelled as a big group and there are mixed reviews about this place. The room we received was very nice and spacious for 3 people with a double bed and a single bed. Our room also had two bathrooms. Only issue we found with the room was the lighting, it could have been more bright. Coming to the food, it was good but breakfast could use a little variety. Overall a decent place, good for 2-3 days stay.

I stayed here for 2 nights, last April, during a tour around Jordan (group pf 15pers). The room was basic, with a nasty smell and the bathroom needed some cleaning. It was facing the street so the car noise was heard all night. Some people from the group had to switch rooms 2 times (no clean sheets etc). It is positioned in a more new area of Amman, so if you want to go the old city get a taxi. (~3dinars / 7dolars - Roman amphitheater, which is at the entrance to shopping area) Near the hotel there are some small supermarkets and some local restaurants. After a 15min walk you can reach a more 'luxury" street, with some brand stores and a mall (ask the reception for directions) - on foot you can reach it faster but it involves some courage to cross some busy streets, stopping cars :( (by car is more complicated as there are a lot of turns and one-way streets). The breakfast & dinners were ok.

Rooms on the third floor are okay. Avoid the suites and rooms on the fourth floor. The Management has given up investing on upgrading the facilities, so the custom is budget tour groups. Note worthy feature of the Hotel is the buffet breakfast served in the restaurant ( in the basement). The spread is amazing and there is a live (egg) counter after 8 am.The restaurant staff are quite hospitable.

As we worked our way up to Amman from Aqaba, which is about a 4 hour drive we were booked into Vendome Hotel in Jordan. We were booked in here for four nights and it was amazing. The local area was vibrant and downtown centre was not so far away either, but you would need to get a local taxi to get there (not too expensive). This hotel had pretty much everything. Two of shared a twin but on the second night were upgraded to individual double rooms (which were massive). The staff are really welcoming and the food for dinner and breakfast was amazing. It seemed more like a 5 star hotel than a 4 star but either way, everything at this hotel was great. Really spacious, the Wifi worked in the rooms as well as downstairs. When we explored the local area, we couldn't have really asked for a better place to stay during our stay in Amman. Definitely Va Va Voom Vendome

Joined the tour no choice of my own hotels wish the agent had given us a better hotels we didn't mind paying. The rooms are old n dated n dirty. What can u expect if the housekeepers are men. The room smells stale n aircon turned to hot air when we chose air conditioning ! Lucky it was winter n we opened the window but it we had to grip with noisy cars n prayers at 4am. Bfast was buffer style. Nothing to shout about. Is just old old old n smell. Shower only half covered which means I get wet floor all over ! Asked for tissue box which didn't arrived n my sis in law didn't have toilet roll. Has kettle but the cover broke. And no where near to city centre .
