Downtown hotel and apartments was a pleasant stay. Very modern, spacious rooms with full kitchen. Comfortable bed and quiet made for an easy nights sleep. The restaurant on the 5th floor is very reasonably priced at 8 JD, for all you can eat eat buffet, including an omelette station! Our restaurant host, Bahaa Mallah, was very friendly and accommodating. Amazing people and service. This hotel is centrally located. Only 2km from the Citidal, 1 block from the mall, wine bar and pub. 2km from rainbow street. Don’t miss out on this place.

We stayed six nights as we were using Amman as a base for day trips. We loved the idea of being able to 'eat-in' rather than having to eat out all of the time and so we chose here for that purpose. The rooms are really large, modern and very comfortable. It is a five minute walk to a huge mall which has a massive supermarket 'Town Town' on the ground flour which was great for buying a few groceries. We ate at one of the rooftop restaurants that served Jordanian style food that was quite good. There are a variety of fast food places there as well. Next to the Mall is pedestrian strip that is lined with a huge variety of restaurants. There is a Duty Free shop there and if you take your passport you can go and purchase everything from alcohol to cosmetics at Duty Free prices. Jordan is very expensive, so Duty Free prices mean you can buy a bottle of wine, beer or spirits at a reasonable price. Most places we ate throughout Jordan do not serve alcohol. There is also a taxi-rank next to the Mall and there were always plenty of taxis there at night if you wanted one. Like others have said, the breakfast is pretty ordinary but it was ok and it was all we needed for a long day of sight-seeing. The kitchenette has only basic items (enough for what we needed) and does not come with any dishcloth, tea towel or washing up liquid. However, we enjoyed our stay here, it was just what we needed. If you want the option to 'eat in' occasionally, then this would be a good option.

We stayed 3 nights. Rooms were big with a small kitchen, however the beds were not too clean, the toilets were big and clean. Apartment was near a big mall within 5 mins walk. Breakfast was really lousy with limited food served. Need to provide better breakfast.

As I read the other reviews, the food stands out as a concern. We just used the hotel for an overnight stay in Amman and found it to be extremely comfortable and modern. It has all the amenities you can ask for. We did not opt for the breakfast so can't comment on the food

Rooms were very spacious with small kitchen area so ideal for those who wish to cater for themselves. Breakfast was very poor and the evening meal terrible!! There were 4 vegetarians in our group and when asked what they could eat they were pointed to the mash - which was cold!! I notice the review by Lyn14 mentions exactly the same issues we encountered and whilst she was assured the situation would be rectified it clearly has not been! We too were part of a tour group from Mercury and I have written to both Mercury and Travco in the hope this hotel will be taken off the itinerary - very disappointed
