Needed to spend a couple of nights in Amman before heading to the dead Sea and Petra. There are quite a few hotels to choose from and at much more reasonable prices than in London. So after a lot of reading we chose the W for the room sizes and location and. of course price point. The first thing you notice when you arrive is the security and this goes for all the large hotels. There is a security checkpoint and all your bags are scanned. From here you pass through the spectacular W red canyon (see photo) and then upto the 6th floor to reception. So though the entrance through the canyon is spectacular the reception area is pretty underwhelming and I'm not sure why they decided to make it so small. Check in was quick as we arrived at 1.00am and then upto the fifteenth floor to our room. We had two interconnected rooms and the doorway between the two had obviously not been. used for a while as its was dusty. and dirty, though this was addressed promptly when mentioned. The rooms are great with a seating area a bathroom big enough to be another bedroom and as this was a corner room we had to sets of floor to ceiling windows. One set of windows looked onto the Rotana. The room has tea/coffee facilities and a fridge. Bath robes and slippers in the bathroom which had ample cupboard storage space and a freestanding bath and separate large walk in shower. One nice touch was the cake waiting for us in our room as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The lighting is controlled by buttons all round the room and some of the buttons didn't work. we had room service for burgers and breakfast the next morning. No issues with that and the burgers were tasty. Wife used the spa for a couple of treatments. Pedicure wasn't that good but the massage was. You need to show your vaccination status to you the spa. Service was very good and I suppose the only reason I didn't mark it excellent was that the rooms just look slightly tired, the sofas, cushions, worktops etc. Location is great as you're at one end of the Boulevard which is a pedestrianised road with lots of restaurants on it and a nice buzzing atmosphere at night. At the other end of the Boulevard is the Abdali Mall, which has all the standard outlets, a supermarket and food court. There is a rooftop pool on the 6th floor which looks like a nice place to relax and unwind. Overall a pleasant stay and would be happy to recommend it to visitos.…

Amazing hotel! Service was 10/10, people were so nice, good food, amazing breakfast Alaa AlSawalhi 👍 was so so nice to everyone, so smart he understands everything with little descriptions. Design is so unique, the room was so clean. Thank you so much
The staff was very friendly and there was no language barrier no matter who you spoke with at the hotel. The rooms are very modern and well equipped with all gadgets you can imagine. The hotel is located close to the shopping mall with many restaurants but also their hotel food quality is very good. The rooftop bar is not to be missed as it offers a wonderful view of Amman as well as a very positive guest service experience.
Alaa alsawalhi was a perfect server, we enjoyed our breakfast experience. We had a large selection to choose from and loved having the rooftop for drinks and a view. I would recommend staying here when visiting Amman.
