Great hotel lovely clean room, free Wi-Fi, air con, fridge. Free coffee , juice and dates in reception Literally one minute walk to the bus stop to pick up the Petra bus.The staff in this lovely little hotel couldn't do enough for us. They organised our tickets to Petra the next day , opened up the breakfast room early so we could have breakfast before we left on the 6.30am coach, also allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel as we were staying over night in Petra. We would highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely stay again.

We’ve just returned from our vacation in Jordan and we would like to share with you our experience with 7boys hotel in Amman. We were accomodated here for 1 night, after that we went to Petra for 2 days and came back to Amman. We arrived from Petra about 8pm, wanted to check-in and receptionist informed us that they doesnt have our reservation in their system. We showed them our confirmation of reservation and proof of payment, because we paid on-line in advance approx. 2 weeks before our arrival. Receptionist said that we can go to our room and he will call to the manager to confirm with him that we have a reservation. We put our baggages to room and went to the receptionist to confirm that everything is Ok. Receptionist informed us that manager confirmed that we dont have any reservation and we must pay or leave. Even that we had a confirmation in our booking app and proof of payment they wanted printed version... so I called to booking and after 50 minutes, they confirmed that we are right, we have a reservation and its already paid. Meantime receptionist informed us that we have a 5 minutes to leave. So Booking support called to the reception and confirmed that everything is Ok. Receptionist said that we can go to the room... After another approx 20 min receptionist called us that he didnt received any written confirmation, his shift will end in a 20 minutes and if he will not receive written confirmation we must leave. So I called again to booking, where they confirmed that we have a paid reservation and its a problem on a hotel site. We’ve spent another hour arguing on reception and another employees joined this fight and started to scream on us that its not their problem, that we are not in their system, its our problem.😄 Really, I’m not kidding - proof of payment, confirmation of reservation, reservation number and call from booking was not enough for them, and they didnt do anything to fix this issue!!! We’ve spend 1,5 hours with booking support, we also called police - police recommended to us to go to the court. Problem was on a site of hotel and its unproffesional, rude and uncooperative staff. Meantime another guests arrived and hotel staff tried to make idiots from us - ,,see, this is how it looks like when guest has a reservation. “ etc. Despite this we did not give up and after 2 hours “manager” arrived. I have never seen such an arrogant person, he just repeated that its our problem, not their. We showed him our confirmation from booking and a proof of payment (where was Booking + address of the hotel) and he tried things like ,,we dont offer rooms for this amount” etc.😄We literally had to beg him to call to booking and make sure that we have a reservation. Of course they confirmed him that we have a paid reservation, but manager started to do a trouble - he just didnt want do admit that we are right. So we were sitting another hour in a smoky room until the manager has received written confirmation from the booking. Funny thing is they sent him the same confirmation that we showed him for a milion times.😄 So he tried things like that there is not any credit card number on that confirmation, so he called to the bank. After that he went to the reception, we just heard some noices a in a 5 minutes receptionist came to us and said that we can go to room. Really, thats all. No APOLOGY or something like that - we were HONORED to go to our room that we PAID in advance after 3 HOURS. And manager ran away without a word.😂 So we went to room and in a morning they’ve tried the same thing during check-out ,,Our manager confirmed that we dont have your reservation in our system” etc. screamed on us again, so we left. It was THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER so we wanted to inform and warn all potential guests - dont make a reservation in this hotel! You can never know if they will have a mess in their papers again. Its a close to Abdali JETT bus station, but please try to make reservation anywhere else. We are a not angry at booking, but on a hotel, its staff and their behavior to us. They absolutely didnt try to help us and solve this issue (which was on their site). We didnt receive any APOLOGY, they just screamed on us and talked to us as idiots. Jordan is an amazing, beautiful country, that we would recommend to everybody. But a not this hotel and their behavior from medieval ages with staff that tried to rob us.

We stayed here for 2 nights. All the staff were very helpful and genuine, heating by air conditioning was warm and comfortable. The hotel is in the good location, near by the shops. A good hotel to stay at the affordable price .

If you traveling to Petra and do not want to spend much money, 7 boys hotel is a very good option! The bus to Petra leaves at 6:30, so try to be at the JETT station (100 meters away) at least 15-20 minutes in advance, because it might be a queue. The personnel in the hotel can organize an early breakfast, which by the way needs an improvement, at 5:45-6:00. If you are looking for a place, where to have dinner, I would recommend cafe Italia. What can be actually said about the hotel?.. They have free Arabic coffee with cardamom and dates. We liked it and got a small present from the owner - a bag with this specific coffee for free. The hotel is close to the shops with tasty nuts. Try them! It seems that only men work at the hotel, so it is not so clean and cozy as it could be. It might be noisy in the evening, thus take your ear plugs. Water in the shower was hardly pouring. Wi fi is pretty slow.
