I reserved a room on 1st Aug for the 4th August.I checked the hotel website and it offered a room at a rate which was considerably higher than the one offered by booking.com, so I booked through booking.com. This morning I got a call from the hotel saying that it was closed and that they offered me a room in another hotel in their chain. I refused as I chose this hotel for its location. I wonder how it is that yesterday both booking and the hotel were offering a choice of rooms for the night I requested, yet suddenly today the hotel has asked me to cancel.Tel Aviv is quite busy these days. Perhaps the rate I got through booking was too low compared to the demand? I really don't know, but I can't even register my dismay with booking, who seem to automatically send me to the hotel. Tel Aviv is a wonderful city with many fantastic hotels. Do yourself a favour - don't take the risk of booking this hotel, especially if you are travelling from abroad. The quite simply are not reliable. They said it is difficult to change the options on the booking site. Possibly - I don't know. But what about their own site? That is too difficult too? There are too many unanswered questions here. Time is too valuable to waste on people like this. Just look for a hotel with better recommendations.

Quirky little boutique hotel right off Dizengoff Square. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The location is central to all the action. The decor is funky -- with jars of vivid-colored candy (yes, you can eat it), ceramic poodles, and balloons -- and was described by one of the staff as a kid's birthday party gone bad, but in a good way. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, and water pressure in the shower strong. Lots of free perks -- an espresso machine in the lobby, and in the room a bottle of wine, kinder eggs, and mineral water. Though the rooms are small, the proximity to amazing restaurants, shopping, and cafes make it worth it.

The hotel is situated between the Dizengoff center and the Dizengoff square and it hardly gets any more central than this. Perfect if you are visiting the town. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very small but clean and nice. There is coffee and cookies, even beer in the lobby all day and in the room we had chocolate and wine waiting. Nice ! They do spoil you. There were two problems : one of them is the noise both inside and outside, which is of course partly due to the fact that this is the center of a town that never sleeps. The other was the coffee house that also serves as the breakfast room. Breakfast was included in the rate we had paid and when we arrived to the coffee house, a very unpleasant woman sent us to stand in line outside the hotel. when we were finally given seats at the bar the whole thing worked badly : It;s a real pity because the food is very good but it rather spoiled the breakfast
