The Armon Hayarkon might be the best budget hotel in Tel Aviv. It has a great location one block away from the sea, and very near the Old Port Shopping area. I was greated by Yakov who couldn't have been more helpful! Thank you Yakov at reception. Rooms are clean and the breakfast was really quite varied and excellant!

This hotel is not a new hotel, but clean and comfortable.
A area is a north side in Tel aviv.
Especially a reception’ guy Mr. Saul is a kind and fun. Thanks a lot your recommendations.

場所は街より北側で離れており歩き、古いですがキレイに保たれています。水回りも良く、ドライヤーもありますが、アメニティは液体三種のみです。どこかで水道を使用すると、流れる音がするので気になる方は難しいかもしれません。

I came to Israel in the middle of the war and never in my life I was treated that way. Rudest Concierge. I needed a room to spend a few hours as I could not get into my apartment. I was told that they have a day use and check out time is at 12 PM (I checked in at 3 AM). Next day, another guy told me that I only booked day use which is 3 hours only and that I should pay additional fees. It was not the price. It was how the guy treats the customer. He threatened to call the cops and I told him to go ahead because I would like to talk to them. The Manager refused to talk to me and said I already checked out which I did not.

Arrived at night no help from reception to get baggage up the front stairs. Generally Found the reception staff to be unhelpful and even surly. It seemed that we were disturbing them when we asked something. Room was clean but well worn, curtains were frayed. Shower was located above the bathtub. The bathtub was dangerously slippery and we were told to put a towel into the bath. Stayed in room 404. Roof leaked during rainstorm one night. They supplied us with a bucket. It looked like the ceiling had leaked before and not properly repaired.

Yes, I understand, you are reading this comparing it to some of the bigger branded hotels down the road with the equally bigger branded price. What do you do? Play safe and book the expensive brands or take the risk on an unknown?? Well let my review guide you -
The rooms are very clean with the following
Air Con (and works)
Real Bath that you can lie in (Seasoned trippers will know what I mean)
Kettle (take you favourite sachets)
Good sized TV (why are you watching TV on holiday anyway)
Fresh sheets EVERYDAY yes everyday
Safe

The breakfast was good and catered for diverse customers (American, Germans and Swedish where there during our stay)

Reception is excellent and helpful especially the enigmatic Saul who engages and relates funny stories.

Location - I block from beach; 2 blocks from nightlife!

All in all if this does not help you reach that all important decision of where you are going to spend your well earned holiday I don't know what will. Extra tip - Try MikeyBikey (on my last review) for a tour of a lifetime!

I stayed here for 4 nights in a double room. I found a cheap deal on the internet . If you come with a car then take in mind that you might not have a parking space if the parking at the hotel is full. Or your car is at the front of the parking and then they need to take out all the other cars first. If you have time then its ok.
My room was not cleaned 2 out of 4 nights. The maid forgot our room twice. The rooms are quit old and small and if you are not at the front (I was at the back) then there is no view. The location is not to bad, 25 min walking from the beach and city center, 5 min from the promonade. I would spend a bit more next time and stay somewere nicer. For young travellers its more then enough.

We stayed at the hotel next door, but were taken to the Armon to book a tour for Jerusalem. Needless to say, the attention we got at the Armon was simply incredible. Saul, the reception guy, was the nicest man ever, he offered to help us with not just tours but many other things. We're really grateful about that and wish we had stayed at the Armon, which looked really nice for the price and with great staff!

The rooms are great, not fancy, but spacious, super clean, nicely designed and having everything you need. The breakfast is quite varied and interesting. Location is great, 2 minutes from the beach on one side, and trendy bars and restaurants from the other side.

Today I completed my 4th stay at Armon Hayarkon. Staff is friendly and helpful--especially Saul and Ilya. Very good value. Very well located 2 blocks from beach and 5 blocks from the Port with excellent restaurants and shops and 2 blocks to the west Rehov Dizingoff with numerous restaurants and shops--I would say ideally located in Tel Aviv. Cabs easily accessible. My room was clean. Breakfast was limited as this is a small hotel. I will be returning here. Harry K
