What a welcome surprise arriving at this beautiful hotel yesterday with our tour group after a tour of Israel. The staff were delightful and made us feel so welcome like we had just arrived home. The decor is stunning and all so clean and fresh. After putting our cases down we were again surprised with the knowledge of a happy hour, with free alcohol, and lovely nibbles. After problems with flights and pick ups cancelled etc the staff couldn’t have been more helpful in helping us sort all out. Did a long walk along the fore shore this morning which is just across the road from the hotel with many lovely restaurants etc. I would highly recommend this hotel is your coming to Tel Aviv. A fantastic night spent here with our tour group of 13. Happy hour ( from 5 - 7)was free, wine spirits and nibbles for all guests which was awesome after spending a fortune at other destinations while touring Egypt, Jordan and Israel. Hotel felt clean under my bare feet - yay, first time in 27 days!! I haven't been to breakfast yet but I just can tell it is going to be great!.

We are returning guests to this most wonderful hotel. It is excellently positioned with all areas of Tel Aviv easily accessible and the beach is only a few minutes walk away. The rooms are comfortable and I recommend staying in a superior room. There is a lovely lounge and roof top garden(ideal for sunbathing) Breakfast is amazing and we were brilliantly looked after by Simona ,Ramona and Sharon . There is a happy hour most evenings for drinks and nibbles. One of the main reasons for returning is the most amazing staff. Besides the ladies mentioned above Eti , managed the team and guests beautifully. She is supported wonderfully by Avi and also on reception Ronli,Celeste, Katrina, and Maria who go out of there way to make sure your visit goes smoothly. They are all so friendly and attentive, you couldn’t ask for more .I have recommended the Shalom to many friends who all come back with the same view . The staff have all been there together for many years which makes returning so very comfortable We are excited to be returning later in the year

This was a returning visit to the hotel. The staff greeted us like old friends. Our experience from the checking in with a glass of wine to the fantastic Israeli buffet breakfast Tea and coffee on tap all day. Happy hour mini buffet late afternoon. And many more little touches make this small hotel our first choice when travelling in the winter. The manager recognised us and remembered our daughter lived nearby. She looked after our every need for our personalised breakfast requests. We missed her when she took the weekend off; Thursday to Sunday morning. The decor is nautical with white wood and strong blues is modern and homily. We had a beautiful three hours sitting in the lounge with visiting friends. Supplied with drinks and nosh by Amanda the resident chef come front desk greeter come anything we needed help with. There is a fabulous rooftop seating area that overlooks the sea which is just the other side of the green space behind the Hilton. Lucky enough to catch a sunny spell and sat with a book and drink in between visiting daughter and sightseeing Rooms are well appointed and continue the nautical theme colours and light. Beds are huge with beautiful cotton bedding. I found a second duvet in the wardrobe which I needed at night. Husband definitely didn’t and had the window open all night!! which is so important to us. The hotel are currently refurbishing rooms and bathrooms which our bathroom was ready for. If you are looking for comfort cosy and friendly I would highly recommend the Shalom and Relax.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel during our recent trip to Israel. Suffice it to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel offers great personal service, a very nice breakfast buffet and boasts a convenient location. We especially enjoyed the complimentary drink and live music during the afternoon happy hour.
