We arrived at 4 am last week, after a long trip. The place was located in a great place, just off Rothschild. The receptionist was great, we loved the hotel, and we got a wonderful recommendation for breakfast when we woke up! We were upgraded to a 2 BR unit, and we had all the space we needed for my...

Tomorrow we are leaving the Diaghilev Hotel in Tel Aviv after a week in one of their two bedroom suites. We have stayed in many hotels over the years, but this experience was one of the most memorable. Aside from its perfect location in the heart of Tel Aviv off Rothschild Blvd. this hotel cares about its guests. Each staff...

Every year I return to the Diaghilev and why stay anywhere else. First, the location is great and only a block off Rothschild. The staff are very friendly and helpful. On check in we were offered expresso and water and on the last night we were presented a bottle of Cava to toast celebrate the end of another wonderful stay....

We stayed for a week at the Diaghilev which is located in the very centre of the city, just a few minutes to walk to Rothschild Blvd. It was a 2 room appartment which really gave us enough space. The wardrobe is a bit small, but that's all there is to complain about. Very friendly and helpful people down at...

We stayed at the Diaghilev Hotel for 5 nights. It is a boutique hotel with fabulous art and luxurious Persian carpets throughout. We had an attractive 1 bedroom apartment with kitchenette, lounge and bathroom - with a bath! We booked on line advance purchase and got a good rate. The kitchen is equipped with stylish dishes and glasses. The hotel...

The owners went out of their way to help our small group (8 people) get the best deal and rooms. We loved the spacious suites (!!) and amazing location, on top of the great great service. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Stayed here for 2 nights as a base for touring Tel Aviv. I expected a unique experience and received just that. We were offered juice and water upon entering, and treated warmly. The art work in each room provided a nice touch, and like many other reviewers, we were upgraded to a room with a balcony, that had a great...

We stayed three nights in April. We reserved a room with balcony, but were upgraded to a suite with balcony; a very pleasant surprise. The hotel is on a quiet street, but near many of the important older neighborhoods and sites of Tel Aviv. It is also not too far a walk from Jerusalem Beach (about 20 to 25 minutes)....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Diaghilev is a bohemian boutique hotel that offers an extraordinary and exceptional cultural experience intensified by an excellent personal service. The hotel features an art gallery exhibiting over 500 artworks that change every 6 months, unique and mostly radical decor items, a collection of hand made rugs from all over the universe, most of which are ancient and therefore reflect the aged cultures they originate from. The Diaghilev has recently established a HUB for Start-ups and integrates a wide activity in such fields as design, fashion and technology. The uniqueness of the hotel brought it into prominence among internationally acknowledged artist visiting Tel Aviv and the world of technology and start-up. Many employees of the leading corporations in the world choose the Diaghilev as their base in Tel Aviv. Built in the purest Bauhaus the Diaghilev invites its guests to experience a World Cultural Heritage site rich of hundreds of Bauhaus buildings and get a taste of the “White City.” Our uncommon nocturnal concept was designed taking account of a recent scientific research that showed evidence that black beddings cause intensive production of Melatonin hormone, which results in deeper sleep, stronger immune system and increased anti-aging effect. The Diaghilev is an eco-friendly hotel, committed to a continually expanding list of operating practices that aim to maintain minimal environmental impact. The toiletries at the Diaghilev are of outstanding quality. They are produced from natural materials created from plants cultivated for this purpose in the hills of Jerusalem. These products are produced and packaged at a small factory that employs people with disabilities and integrates them into the labor market. Our creativity-support concept lead to the establishment of the HUB - a shared work environment that is more than a physical workplace for creative entrepreneurs: It is designed to nurture a community in which creators will be able to collaborate with one another in order to produce innovative projects and initiatives. ... more   less
