Classy and cosy hotel with atmosphere positively influenced by its art profile. Staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. OK bar offering breakfast and a limited menu throughout the day. Rooms large and well equipped including A/C. Location quiet, in the Bauhaus style White City, but close to Rotschild Avenue with restaurants, bars and nightlife.

Fantastic hotel with great decore. The rooms were very comfortable and I slept like a baby. The food is good and the coffee top notch but the service in the restaurant is appalling. I ate breakfast 2 out of 3 days and both days I was ignored for at least 10 minutes when I arrived even though there was only... More

We've been staying at Diagilev for the 3rd time!! It is definitely one of the best places to stay in the city (cost-effective wise), close to main sights, convenient, a balcony with great view (while in most of other hotels you cannot even open a window), reception staff very nice and helpful, parking, etc. Very well recommended !!

We stayed at the Diaghilev on our last night in Israel, and will definitely come back on future trips. I've never seen a hotel with original art in the hallways and in the suites. Our room was great and the service attentive - and hip. The receptionist was delightful and very Israel. One cute incident. I asked the bartender of... More

The location of this hotel is amazing. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and they speak English perfectly. The rooms are large with a living room and balcony and have a small kitchenette. The service was impressive for a boutique hotel. I will DEFINITELY return on my next trips to Tel Aviv!

I did enjoy my stay here, great location, friendly staff. The rooms were spacious suites, nice, clean, but probably not quite up to luxury standards. So long as your standards are reasonable then its a great place to stay, quiet, close to restaurants and bars, and comfortable.

This place is super nice. We received a free upgrade to a suite for our family of 4. The desk staff was great. We were only there for half a day before catching an early flight to the airport, but the staff was very attentive...arranging for transportation to the airport and giving us some suggestions for a walk in the... I stayed at this hotel for the second time in a few months. I had a superior balcony suite, which was great. Big sitting room with a kitchen area, nice bedroom, and a bathroom with, as before wonderful products. There was a welcoming bowl of fruit, orange juice and water. The lobby also has beautiful fruit displays for guests to... More

This boutique hotel has exceeded my expectations. The staff was is friendly, helpful and pleasant. They all make sure to go out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room is big and comfortable. The staff at the restaurant is also very nice. Location is excellent. I would stay here again and again....

Rooms (we had an apartment suite) at the Diaghilev are large and comfortable. WiFi is reliable and it's nice that USB plugs are available in room. The hotel itself is in a residential area (and therefore, nice and quiet), but centrally located and within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and nightlife, Carmel Market, and Sarona Market. I'd definitely stay... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Diaghilev is a bohemian boutique hotel that offers an extraordinary and exceptional cultural experience intensified by an excellent personal service. The hotel features an art gallery exhibiting over 500 artworks that change every 6 months, unique and mostly radical decor items, a collection of hand made rugs from all over the universe, most of which are ancient and therefore reflect the aged cultures they originate from. The Diaghilev has recently established a HUB for Start-ups and integrates a wide activity in such fields as design, fashion and technology. The uniqueness of the hotel brought it into prominence among internationally acknowledged artist visiting Tel Aviv and the world of technology and start-up. Many employees of the leading corporations in the world choose the Diaghilev as their base in Tel Aviv. Built in the purest Bauhaus the Diaghilev invites its guests to experience a World Cultural Heritage site rich of hundreds of Bauhaus buildings and get a taste of the “White City.” Our uncommon nocturnal concept was designed taking account of a recent scientific research that showed evidence that black beddings cause intensive production of Melatonin hormone, which results in deeper sleep, stronger immune system and increased anti-aging effect. The Diaghilev is an eco-friendly hotel, committed to a continually expanding list of operating practices that aim to maintain minimal environmental impact. The toiletries at the Diaghilev are of outstanding quality. They are produced from natural materials created from plants cultivated for this purpose in the hills of Jerusalem. These products are produced and packaged at a small factory that employs people with disabilities and integrates them into the labor market. Our creativity-support concept lead to the establishment of the HUB - a shared work environment that is more than a physical workplace for creative entrepreneurs: It is designed to nurture a community in which creators will be able to collaborate with one another in order to produce innovative projects and initiatives. ... more   less
