Let me start by saying the service from Khalil was beyond what most get. Hhe helped us make a reservation and organising taxi rides. Always with a friendly smile. Our luck being the room was ready upon arrival. The beds were very comfortable and the room was cleaned to perfection. Samir the breakfast cook made the most amazing coffee, eggs, omlettes and deserts and home made bagels. Even if you arrive early you can pay to get in and it's worth it.
There was a time things were not great at the Diaguilev but I am happy to report that they are back to being good again. I specially want to mention the cafeteria which was closed for a long time (Corona) and has reopened under different management. It is now delicious, fresh, home style cooking with a Middle Eastern touch. I was so glad I took the room with breakfast! Highly recommended!
It's a really comfortable hotel, with bare bone service. Just one (nice) person at the reception. No food included (no Israeli breakfasts) . But the best spacious clean room (two rooms actually, plus mini kitchen (no stove) in the heart of Tel Aviv. For a price that can't be beat.
It used to be our favorite hotel when visiting TLV. The pandemic and probably new management have changed things for the worst. Instead of friendly staff the team seems to be demotivated and could care less about the guests. The rooms are neglected and not well maintained, and instead of art there are cheap posters on the walls hanged with nails. There is no option of getting coffee in the hotel. This is what I would expect from a 50$ a night not from a 300$ one. Real shame. Will not be back
Lovely vibe at this low keyed, spacious hotel. We stayed two nights, went away for the weekend, and stayed three more nights. We preferred the first room (401) to the second (403) and were disappointed that we could not get a better room. But, the rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom is comfortable. Wonderful to have parking, although there is an extra, but small fee. It's our second time here and would come back again. Only problem, which is not the fault of the hotel, is the construction at the end of the street.
Very accommodating staff, and excellent room and hotel: i’ve been very happy during my stay at this wonderful hotel. The room I am in makes me feel like it’s my apartment, I have a kitchen area, a nice bedroom, and the living room. I like the style of the furniture, and there’s a nice window that lets in light. I’m very happy that the lock to the door is electronic, because I sometimes forget my keys, so this makes my life easy! But most important of course is the staff. They were very Very nice from the moment I stepped in, from the front desk to the cleaning staff. I recommend this hotel to everyone
This was not the first time staying at this most special place and hopefully it will not be the last and the reason is obvious: it is the best accommodation I have ever stayed at in Israel, and I have been to many wonderful ones. Everything from the superb hospitality of every single staff from reception, housekeeping, maintenance, to the location and accommodations, is perfect. My room was exceptionally clean, modern, filled with contemporary art, and spacious, actually akin to a one bedroom apartment with a large living room, kitchenette (coffee urn, refrigerator, iron, dishes/glasses/cutlery) and full bath. The location is on a quiet street just off trendy Rothschild Blvd, convenient to great dining, entertainment, shopping, and a mere 10-15 min walk to the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. I have never encountered a more friendly and efficient staff! The names I happen to remember were at the reception desk: Miriam, Shiran, Oren and Mahmud - each in his/her way made me feel as if I was the hotel's most important guest - I am forever grateful to them, the housekeepers, and the maintenance staff.…
We chose a Premium room expecting 'premium' amenities and service..no such luck! The room is large but empty of any style and cold- despite the art work. The bathroom is small and very basic. Towels were shredded at the edges and thin. Closets were like those found in hostels - at best. Bed was ok. Pillows uncomfortable and lumpy. Kleenex box was empty with no additional supplies in the room. When asked for a refill, we were told by the front desk that she only covers the front desk and there was no way she could provide it. (There is no housekeeping department). We were aware that there is no food service but the feel of this hotel is like staying in a hostel and for the rates this hotel is asking ... a hostel would have been better value for money!!
loved-The staff is welcoming, the mattress is excellent, parking is convenient. Good air conditioning, pleasant balcony, Disliked-The place advertises as if it has a fully equipped kitchenette, there is only an electric kettle which is a basic in any hotel even when taking one room, no stove, no microwave, not even a kitchen knife. , there are basic cutlery and some plates that of course are useless.there is no restaurant or any dining option in the hotel' they dont serve breakfast and you ca not prepare any food yourself There are no drawers for storage in the bedroom. And the wardrobe is a niche of shelves covered with an ugly curtain inside the kitchenette. The living room is spacious but has a small and uncomfortable two-seater sofa. In general, the hotel needs a"face lift", we stayed there a few years ago and the time and neglect of the small details such as worn and dirty furniture is evident. Too bad there is no TV in the bedroom…
Recommend to anyone looking for a vacation, no matter what type of vacation at all, just go anywhere else. It is better to sleep in any AIRBNB apartment in the city, than in this musty and bad hotel that is full of people who are just trying to sting the payment and treat guests like "garbage". ** As an example of the low level of the rooms, attached is a picture of the ceiling of the room, which dripped water non-stop. From the receipt in response to the drip, it was said that it was irrelevant and that for them it was a common and small problem and they cut off the conversation in our face. ** From the reception !! **.
