Located behind the US embassy and a few blocks from the beach, the Ultra hotel has a prime location. As a boutique hotel, it also has strong customer service. We arrived for check-in around 8 pm, and were quickly assigned rooms. All rooms are on the second floor. My room was in the back (218) and it was clean and quite. We had a few issues getting the room cold enough, but that was resolved by the front desk. Additionally, the toilet and shower are in separate areas, although the shower does have frosted glass walls, which makes privacy a bit dicey. Oddly, this room shared an enclosed courtyard with at least 2 other rooms. Thankfully, we didn't have a problem with our neighbors, but I thought that was strange. The hotel has complimentary coffee and snacks in the lobby and breakfast (which was a great spread) was served in the first floor bar.…
Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location at a reasonable cost. We had the deluxe sweet-plenty of season space and we’ll-configured. Great staff. The breakfasts were wonderful. Loved the rain shower. The airplane/cruise ship-type toilets were a non-issue for us. We will definitely stay there again.
The location is good, across the US Embassy and two blocks fro the sea. It is not a typical hotel, since you enter into a bar/ cafeteria to take the eleveator for the second floor where the rooms are located. The room was relatively small, with cheap laminate floor and no window. I do not know why I was given a room for disabled people (apparently the last one), but besides the good size of the bathroom, the shower was not convinient (no hanger for the shower). Receptionist was friendly and the breakfast very good.
I stayed here for three nights on a business trip to Tel Aviv. To be honest the rooms are boring, my room also had no window so as well as boring it was depressing. The breakfast was OK and the staff, cleaners, receptionist were all polite every day. The photos are deceptive and it looks more like a nightclub than a hotel in the photos but my room was no night club. It's also expensive for a small room with no mini bar, no atmosphere and a water system that sounds like a fighter jet when your in the shower or flush the toilet. The person next door to me clearly spent a lot of time sat on it because every 20 minutes it woke me up. Not quite boutique. I will be staying at the Carlton Hotel again next time.
Had such an amazing stay and plan to stay again in my future visits. Ultra fabulous location, atmosphere and super great hospitality. Loved the gym especially! Toda again for such a wonderful time, see you again soon!
