Comfortable hotel run by a friendly staff. Stunning view from the cafe roof. quick walk down to the Aqsa mosque. Would definitely make sure to ask for room above the ground floor as the only those have been renovated. The ground floor rooms are actually not fit for rental. Suhoor was great during Ramadan.

Stayed here 5 times. The best hotel in the old city. Closest to al aqsa masjid and holy seplechure Amazing views. Located within walking distance to all holy sites within the old city. Saleh the hotel manager is very friendly. Very clean and friendly service. 5min walk from Damascus gate and a 5min walk to the al aqsa compound.

Very comfortable. Owners and staff very helpful - immediately put us at ease. Beautiful view from the rooftop veranda just as advertised. Amazing sunrise over the mount of Olives and Temple Mount. The rooms are quite comfortable, and definitely a good value.

Pros: 1. The hotel is in the middle of Jerusalem old city, easy access to all the places. 2. Provide daily breakfast for $5 per person. 3. The top level view is gorgeous. However, we do have some issues: Cons: 1. I booked a room with two single beds, and the quote is based on that requirement. But what we... More

The location of this hotel is what makes this so special. The terrace view was mesmerizing. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very tidy and well organized. I had issues with wi-fi but not a deal breaker. I would recommend this hotel to any type of visitor. Felt like home away from home.

We stayed for 8 nights at Hashimi during orthodox holy week. We had a spacious room with a beautiful view overlooking the temple mount. The location could not be better. It is within the city walls, very close to the church, which made getting to services easy. There is a wonderful terrace upstairs that is perfect for relaxing and catching... More

Stayed here for a week. Staff were great and very helpful and friendly. Free wifi too. Very close to masjid al aqsa and some great little shops nearby. Love the location, walking through alleys to get there. Rooms could do with a little update but our bathroom was great. Top floor views of the dome of the rock and masjid... More

The rooms are classy and the rest of the hotel decor is very nice. It does have a very new feel, as everything is shiny and clean. The rooftop gives an excellent view over the old city to the Mt of Olives. You will enjoy the breakfast, served in a very ancient feeling room in the basement. All the staff... More

I recently stayed 2 nights at Hashimi Hotel and I was very pleased. Because the hotel is only rated 2-3 stars, I expected less but I must say I found myself nicely surprised. The hotel is clean, stylish, well-run with friendly and helpful stuff. If you want to get a unique experience of staying in the walls of the ancient... More
