Family visit to Al-Aqsa mosque with Sabeel Travel. date 29/10/19 - 2/11/19. Couldn't find a single fault. Had the most enjoyable experience. Staff were most pleasant and welcoming. The proprietors made us feel like it was our own home. We had half board and every evening it was like a banquet. I would like to specially thank Alauddin for making our stay so wonderful and spiritual.
Very helpfull and welcoming people, an amazing rooftop with a view, complimentary tea and coffee 24/24, very clean rooms and a location in the heart of the Old city. A winning combination for a reasonnable price. Thank you, it was a pleasure!
This beats all the new city hotels. The tiny entrance in the middle of the market is so deceptive, and you will be surprised the moment you climb up the stairs. The staff is very nice and efficient. The hotel and rooms are clean with all the essentials. The 24 hour complimentary tea/coffee is a nice touch. And you get the best view from their terrace. We also had awesome breakfast prepared by a very pleasant chef.
If there is availability of this hotel when booking, you MUST stay here! Even if it is not the cheapest because it’s location, service, centrality and hospitality are absolutely the best. I’ve stayed in many 5 stars across the globe, but the welcome here at 2am in the morning was the best I’ve ever had. Who makes you fresh biryani and waits up for you till 2am and then makes sure you have everything you need? We were 5/6 families with around 10 rooms booked. Each room was more then comfortable with mini fridges, toiletries, towels, toilet roll (for those wondering), wardrobe space, COMFORTABLE PILLOWS, and great food. I was in room 313 with a view of Dome if the Rock. But the terrace view at this hotel is the best! It is near the Damascus gate and within the walls of the compound, so near to all the major sites. They will do your laundry, you fill a bag for 50 shekels. They let you make yourself at home, the morning chef was great, my son was given hot milk for his cereals and his bottle.…
In the middle of the old town of Jerusalem this is a nice and quiet oasis. The rooftop terrace with wiev to the temple mount is so nice and relaxing. The muslim staff is friendly and serviceminded. The whole place has a lot of atmosphere. Rooms are big, updated and clean. You have to carry your bags, because no car can drive you to the hotell. The nearest gate is Damascusgate, 7-8 minutes to walk. But when you are installed, everything is within walking distance.
