My husband and I were fortunate enough to stay in this beautiful hotel as part of a Pilgrimage in January of 2020. The staff were warm and helpful and always available. Our room was comfortable and a wonderful place to come "home" after a day of exploring Jerusalem. We highly recommend the Notre Dame Guest House to any other travelers to the Holy Land.
The location was excellent. The Christmas decorations were still up in January and it made the trip and the hotel extra special. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent. Would certainly stay there again.
We began our trip arriving in Tel Aviv around 10:30 pm and then riding to Jerusalem. Approaching Notre Dame was a gorgeous sight and welcoming to weary travelers with refreshing drinks. The rooms, food, and staff were fantastic. We were there for 6 nights. Some of the extras you don't always have in hotels included a chapel, rooftop view of the city of Jerusalem, and a museum dedicated to the Shroud of Turin. This was such a pleasant stay! Thanks to all the employees!
We would stay here again! We went to mass for Christmas Eve that night right there on the property. The breakfast was amazing! We walked into town each night for site seeing, dinner and shopping. The staff was wonderful and helpful to all of our needs even getting us a taxi to the border. The look-out tower at the observation deck was incredible and is included in our stay. We tried to book the restaurant for dinner at the top deck but was totally booked. Please book your dinners in advance! Now we have to go back another time :)
This was the last hotel we stayed at during our trip to the Holy Land and by far our favorite. Our room was incredible, on the second floor with a large balcony facing the front of the hotel. We were there in December so our balcony was perfect for watching the lighting of the Christmas tree and all the festivities. My favorite thing was the incredible chapel! It was where I spent time every evening to process the day and pray. The service and food all great too. I even splurged for a foot massage one evening before dinner. Rani was great and my feet were ready to hit the pavement (or cobblestones) again. Highly recommend this hotel.
