We were recommended the hotel by our tour agency. When I looked up their site, I thought it would be an old hotel but conveniently located inside the old city. The website makes it look like an old building that had been converted to a hotel. I was expecting fixtures screwed into stone and bathroom made from prefab kits that...

Rooms are very basic but clean and have A/C (although you may need to nightly call the front desk to activate it). Those needing internet communication be advised the wifi is poor and very unreliable. Food is monotonous and heavily spiced, but outside opportunities are nearby. Excellent location in the Old City, by Jaffa Gate and Mamilla Mall; great taxi...

You CANNOT find a better location for your trip to Jerusalem. Stayed there for 9 nights with our church's pilgrimage trip. While the rooms are basic, they are immaculate and have all the necessities, including comfortable beds, air conditioning, a safe in the room, adequate bathrooms, including blow dryer, etc. We stayed in the Annex building a few steps away...

We stayed here as part of a large group and the hotel was very busy. We stayed in the annexe which seemed strange at first not staying in the main hotel, but it was fine. Breakfast and dinner was included and was very nice. The hotel is just inside Jaffa Gate and is very convenient for exploring Jerusalem, and when...

Gloria hotel have become a second home as we take big groups every year. The friendly management and staff make you feel at home with their manner and attitude... Location is perfect for pilgrimages as it is walking distance from churches, markets and Mamilla shopping Centre.

Just doors from the Jaffa Gate; a perfect location. The Gloria Hotel is not a 5 or even a 4 star hotel, but it is by far the best 3 star hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff is great and helpful, rooms are very clean and well appointed. If you are looking for comfort and location at a good...

I spent 18 nights at the Gloria, in the Annex. At first I was quite sceptical of being across the alley from the main hotel but after one night, I was delighted. Despite the lack of a lift (made OK by the wonderful helping hands from the front desk and kitchen), the space was wonderful. My room had two single...

This hotel is just inside the Jaffa Gate, perfectly situated as a base for a 10-day visit to the Holy Land. The location is on the border of the Latin and Armenian quarters, very accessible to the new mall with shopping and few restaurants, and for walks to the main sites of the Old City. The rooms are of adequate...

This is a hotel where the art of hospitality is properly practiced. The staff are polite and helpful, the rooms are reasonably good, and being inside the old city is a big plus. Breakfast is good, and dinner above average. I noticed there are more than one cooks, so you get a great variety if you sample their buffet for...
