The room was great, with good style and a good view of the surrounding area from the 2nd floor. Everyone at the desk was very helpful and flexible. Good walking access to the old city, only a few blocks away. Also good access to Jerusalem restaurants, etc. Breakfast is included, and actually worked for me which is often not the...

This place had the nicest rooms of anywhere we stayed in Israel, easily the greatest bargain. The staff was very nice. The place was a little sterile. To be perfectly honest, it was a little creepy. The Center for Progressive Judaism is located here and there were dedication plaques next to the rooms. If you're an observant Jew & don't...

The hotel/guest house is very well situated if you intend to visit the old city of Jerusalem. A few minutes walking distance from the Jaffa gate. The rooms are simple and clean. The breakfast "buffet" should be avoided.

I have no words to express how pleased I was with my stay at the guest house. The entire staff was extremely helpful, friendly and made me feel like I was family. The rooms are clean and you are within walking distance to the old city and mamilla mall. I highly recommend staying at this hotel and plan to return...

We stayed on the 3rd floor from the 23-24 of august because of the close distance to the chozot ha jozer festival. The room smelled very bad of smelly socks. There was very loud music being heard in our room from a bar mitzvah from the hall on the roof untill 1:30 am. (We heard that there similar parties all...

We stayed 5 nights. Got decent breakfast included. 12 minute walk to the Western Wall. Close to shopping, restaurants and old city of Jerusalem. 5 min walk to LRT. Good sized rooms, friendly and helpful staff who speak English. Cafe on site. Reasonably priced compared to nearby hotels at twice the price.

We stayed there on April 2016 with our 3 young kids. We booked a family room for 5. What we got was a dorms style room with double bunks - hardly a "family". In addition, the bunks had no safety boards meaning our kids (3, 4 and 7) couldn't sleep on the top bunks. If you're travelling with kids, avoid...

It's half hostel, half hotel and the hotel part is great. Aside from an electrical outlet that needs to be fixed I couldn't find anything wrong. It's close to everything. The price is hundreds less than the hotel down the block, the breakfast is basic, but still good, they're super friendly and they have great wifi (unlike the other hotels...

I attended the World Zionist Congress and heard so much about Beit Shmeul. I decided to try it out. This is a great place for groups on a budget. It's a nice place in a great location (a block from King David and David Citidel). Rooms are small but quite comfortable. Great selection of TV channels.

We were guests of our family for a bar mitzvah celebration. We (me, my wife and our two sons) stayed in a room which was roomy, clean and well-furnished. A large bed for us, and comfortable sofabed (who knew they made such things!) for the boys. There was even a small patio to allow some fresh air and 'extra' living...

“Make sure you're booking the HOTEL and not the hostel or guest house. Apparently, there is room for confusion on this point. And if you want any of the offered discounts, contact the hotel directly rather than using the "Booking by Click" link on the website.”
