We stayed in the past few days. Our room was clean and renovated on the 11th floor. Lovely views across West Jerusalem to the Old City wall. Two major deficiencies for us particularly were the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a very limited TV service with no English news programmes. We felt that the front desk should have had maps of Jerusalem available. The hotel attracts a lot of young people which makes it noisy at night.

Hotel is old and in need of repair!! The hallways are narrow like a cruise ship. Rooms are shoe boxes and the painting across the head of the bed that covers the entire wall is demonic. Now I can't say that every room’s wall painting is demonic but, several have requested to change rooms. We moved the beds and the dirt Ans dust and stains on the floors were disgusting. Food is Ok but service is non-existent. Don't ask for anything special or even ice. The answer is NO!! I talked a little about service at the hotel. THERE IS NONE!!!!! AND THEY DON’T KNOW OR CAN’T HELP YOU!! It’s quite bizarre!! So, this is my review. I don't leave them often enough and travel all over the world!! This place got a 2 in my book. Oh, did I mention, the beds are like rocks!!

I should have known from the moment I arrived that this was not a good hotel. I was in Jerusalem for work and had a local from Tel Aviv with me. My office booked the hotel and when we got there my local colleague said "I'm not staying here" and drove an hour home to Tel Aviv, then an hour back in the morning for our meetings. The lobby smelled bad - like a hospital or something. The room was dirty; there were long hairs on my towels, the door had a hole in it and the door handle was also broken. Everything about the room felt cheap and it was very small. The only good thing about my stay was that I only had to be there 1 night. In the morning, the breakfast was disgusting, but luckily the location is good and I found a coffee shop with nice breakfast across the street instead. There are so many nice hotels in Jerusalem. This is not one of them.

Room was small but in line with my expectations. Must habe been given a renovated room, because mine (7th floor) was clean and everything was functionnal (TV, shower, AC). I stayed 7 nights. Walking distance from busy shopping street (restaurants) and 15 minutes away from Jaffa gate. Some day tours I had booked were leaving just across the street (easy). For very early start, I was offered a breakfast box to take with me, this was a nice touch.
