The Scottish Guesthouse in Jerusalem is a better than an average guesthouse but not quite a boutique hotel*. It's perfectly located on a hill facing mount Zion with its magnificent Old City ramparts, walking distance from the quaint Yemin Moshe quarter and the renovated and popular "Tahana" (old train station), and is a an excellent base from where to explore... Overlooking the old city with stunning views !A very pleasant stay, very clean well maintained! Courteous and helpful staff, in a great location, walking distance from most mayor attractions in Jerusalem with competitive pricing, highly recommended. Do not miss a visit to the rooftop terrace and the beautiful church on the premises !

I was in jerusalem for two weeks visiting an old friend. I wanted to be walking distance from her and after considering some air bnb possibilities, i settled instead on the scottish guest house. I hadn't known about it previously, even though I lived in the city many years ago and have been back to visit. Even though it was... More

Simply fabulous place. Quiet, serene, immaculate on all accounts. Food superb. Staff so friendly and helpful. Facilities excellent. The town is quite a mix of old and new. The lake is always fun with many activities to be enjoyed.

I love St. Andrews!! It is my favorite place to stay in Jerusalem. I have stayed there by myself, with a friend, and a couple of times, I have even brought small groups. It is always a peaceful and welcome place of rest in a hectic city. The views are breathtaking and the location is convenient--a very easy walk to... More

Great location, right next to the new "train station" complex, and within walking distance from the old city and Mamila mall. The hostel itself is a lovely building with a small church, built in the 1920's. The staff is quite friendly, breakfast is reasonable and the rooms are very modest.

I had the unique experience to stay at this awesome hotel with the best position in the very heart of Jerusalem. The breakfast is the best I ever had in Israel The lobby , the library, the rooms are unique in architecture, and the garden is a real botanical garden.

We recently stayed at this guesthouse for the 2nd time with a group of friends visiting Jerusalem from the U.S. The guesthouse is located on a quiet hill across a valley from the Old City walls of Jerusalem - a 10 minute walk. This is a small guesthouse, we booked 10 rooms, but it is quaint, charming and full of... More
