The hotel is very easy to find. Location wise it is very accessible to a lot of tourist sites. Shops and restaurants are of walking distance. We were able to explore the old city on foot. Rooms are very small, but beds are comfortable. No fridge. It is also very quiet. I love the garden. I'm not sure if I... More

I've been to Jerusalem 5 times in the last 7 years and this is the best place to stay in the Old City. If you stay in West Jerusalem it is clean, urban and a bit boring. If you stay in east Jerusalem it is noisy, a bit chaotic though fun. Christchurch is in the old city. So that means... More

Wonderful hotel, wonderful people, and the fact they we are Jewish did not matter. The location is perfect. Park your car during your stay and walk the old city or follow the Mamilla Mall walk way down to the new city. We felt safe everywhere we went in Jerusalem. One day we hired a tour guide for the entire day:... More

Fantastic location in the Old City right around the corner from Jaffa Gate 1/2 block from the hundreds of shops. Across street from Tower of David etc etc. Walking distance to the Western Wall. Terrific historic atmosphere. Single rooms are small but a comfortable place to sleep. Good good beautiful peaceful place. Stayed there 4 times.

Christ Church Guest House is more than a hotel, it is a cafe, it is a museum, and it is an Anglican Church. It's convenient to Jaffa Gate in the Old City, and directly across from the Tower of David. It is a place where a believer can have a moment of peace. My fiancée and I found ourselves accosted... More

The location of these accommodations couldn't be better for exploring the old city and having access to shops and restaurants. We didn't need to get in our car to see anything we wanted to see - even access to the fancy new mall and the light rail are a short walk right out of Jaffa Gate. We stayed in one... More

Christ Church Hotel is located just inside the Jaffa Gate, in the Old City of Jerusalem (property is right where King Herod's palace gardens would have been). So much history attached to this peaceful, gated, and walled compound (as a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe), run by dear Christians from all over the world. The oldest protestant church... We checked in a couple of week ago. The entrance of the place was so exciting. However, some big cockroaches were waiting us in the room. We tried to change rooms but our request was declined by the receptionists. We checked out and we will never ever go back to this guest house. Beds are small and rooms are not... More

I've stayed at the Christ Church Guest House twice in the past two years. I stayed in separate wings of the guest house on my two visits and found the rooms to be very clean and comfortable. The guest house is quiet even though it is located right inside Jaffa Gate in busy Omar al-Khattab Square. The location is ideal... More

We spent two nights at this remarkable location in May of 2015. Just inside the Jaffa Gate and directly across from the Tower of David museum (Citadel), it is a reasonably priced, simply appointed, comfortable place to spend a couple of days while exploring the old city. We stayed in one of the two second floor rooms with a nice... More
