I traveled with my co-workers trough my work place to this hotel for 2 night stay on a weekend. The hotel is a bit complicated and it took us a long time to find our room. When we entered the room the smell was so terrible I couldn't stay even a minute! We asked to replace the room, but the...

My maiden trip to Israel took me to Dan Hotel, Jerusalem. A typical middle Eastern hotel with very spacious rooms, well furnished bathrooms and amazing welcoming notes that shares with you a lot of historical stuff about the city of Jerusalem and land of Israel. The hotel is in a quiet location in the heart of the city. I would...

The hotel was recently updated. The rooms were spacious; bathrooms updated and shined. The room were clean. We were part of a holy land tour, so check in and out was quick. There were plenty of amenities, but gym did not open until 6:15 AM and as hard to get a run in on the treadmill, so had to run...

We stayed at the Dan Jerusalem for 2 nights (weekend). Pros: The hotel has a direct view to Mt. Temple and is very close to the Mt. Scopus campus Hebrew University and Hadassah hospital. It is not in the center of Jerusalem but the light-train station is Approx. 8-minute walk and can take you to the center in 15 minutes...

I have stayed here 4 out of the 10 times I have visited Jerusalem, because it has the most to offer. If you can afford a little extra, reserve an Executive Room with Lounge Access. The rooms are beautiful, updated, with bathrobes, slippers, and a balcony (some private) to enjoy the fabulous Holy City view. The King David Lounge has...

We stayed with a tour group as part of a Holy Land tour. I don't mind older hotels however they should be clean. The hotel wasn't clean. ATM S rarely worked and bar staff were untrained. The view to the old city wasn't bad.

We booked 6 months early and got a fantastic rate. We had accidentally booked more nights than we needed but the hotel allowed us to change our reservation last minute without hesitation. They mistakenly changed the rate to the current rate (much higher as it was last minute). When we showed our reservation email they immediately corrected it. Very kind...

Stayed with a tour group, of which there were several in the hotel. Very good food in the buffet style dining room with a wide variety of all the vegetables known to man, several freshly cooked meats as well as typical steam tables. Rooms were 3.5 star, likely much better when it was built but certainly better than many we...

As part of an organized tour of Israel, we were booked into the Dan Jerusalem for several nights while we went different direction during the day. The Dan Jerusalem is a beautiful property. The Lobby is spacious with beautiful fountains and skylights. Our room was very comfortable and clean, a wonderful haven to return to after long days of sightseeing....
