So friendly, so helpful, and a most beautiful room. Supposedly our room (632) was the one in which Anwar Sadat once stayed... georgeous, very roomy, and with a great view of the west wall. The breakfast buffet deserves special mention: It was excellent (of course not so much on shabat)

Several nights here to finish trip. Upgraded to a small suite, on lower floor though. Dignitaries visiting, so armed security very visible and breakfast buffet crowded with same. Hotel staff indifferent, had trouble managing a spa appointment. Clearly hotel staff accustomed to security for important guests. Don't expect special service as a regular paying customer. Close to several good restaurants,...

.....….that you are in for a rough ride when you arrive at the King David. Nobody says anything that could remotely be regarded as a pleasantry or greeting. The words ‘Good evening’ ‘Good morning’ ‘Please’ and ‘Thank-you’ have been erased from the vocabularies of the dour, dull, resentful, disobliging and thoroughly charmless staff – every single one of them. The...

Dear Mike H, We were very disappointed to read of your negative experience whilst staying with us at the King David Hotel, especially because your opinion is at polar opposites with our commitment to staff training and the experiences of the vast majority of other guests who regularly review their stay with us. We are extremely taken aback by your...

We stayed at the King David for five nights while touring Jerusalem. The hotel's history is very interesting and it is beautiful in a classic, formal way. Our room was large but needed some updating. The bathroom was very inconvenient. The shower doors leaked water all over the floor and there was little counter space. However, the turndown service was...

The King David is not only a hotel but a grand institution of days long gone. This hotel should be on your bucket-list if you're going to Israel. It is where the diplomats stay when then visit. The beauty of the hotel and the grounds is stunning. Our balcony looked out to the Old City. That was pretty awesome. The food, the bar, the service,,,,, Magnificent!
