My adult son and I enjoyed a delicious lunch within elegant surroundings at this historic, 1929 landmark hotel. Offering views of the walls surrounding Old Jerusalem beyond, it was a delightful experience to dine within this prominent establishment, which has played host to dignitaries while visiting The Holy Land throughout the years. A "runway" down the center hallway floor of the lobby reflects signatures of some of the celebrities and notables who have graced the establishment. Should you stay at the King David Hotel, a 15 minute walk down through a park will lead you up to the Jaffa Gate into the Old City. Great Location!
We stayed with all the family (4 rooms) in The King David hotel for the week end ( Sept 10-12/2020) and I must say that the experience was over and above our expectations . The very pleasant stay was related not only to the impressive and very well maintained facility but even more to the personal service we got from the e-Dan team which made every possible effort to satisfy our needs and make our stay an unforgetable experience We will certainly come back in the future Zipi and Avi Cramer
If you want to feel like a king for your vacation, this is probably the best option in Jerusalem, and probably in Israel too. This is just an amazing hotel, great facilities, decoration. Room was very spacious, with panoramic view of the old city and comfy bed. We visited the hotel during COVID19 pandemic, and the hotel is well organised, sanitised and prepared accordingly. The team itself was super helpful, and the hotel is truly deserved the 5 star rank.
The KD really isn't just a hotel, it's a part of history and a real establishment. We stayed last week as a family with 3 kids, and everything from check in, to the meals, to the service throughout our stay was top notch! Really makes no difference who you are, they will make you feel very special, and the pool area and ground are stanning. A true world class hotel!
We stayed at the hotel 2 nights on our anniversary. This is definitely the best hotel in Israel. The service at the hotel exceeds all expectations. In addition our room has been upgraded to a huge room with a view of the Old city, with a bottle of wine and fruit as a gift from the hotel.
