I visited the Meejana Lounge with friends and it was great. Fast service, good food and friendly staff. Special thanks to Shadi and Ibraheem who were ready to help and kept checking if we needed anything.

My ten-night stay at the St George Hotel was really pleasant. So conveniently placed in relation to our blessed Masjid Al Aqsa. The staff are amazing people and quickly became good friends! I was with a group and the room two of us were allocated was one of the biggest rooms in the hotel. It was clean, the were shutters for the mosquitoes (which I found especially helpful and appreciated so much). The staff were accommodating to my sleeping preferences- Fouadh very quickly called for an extra bed when that was more convenient for the room. The hotel is roughly a 15 min walk (or 5-10 jog/run) from Masjid Al Aqsa which was the most important factor for me. Jeries was so informative and helpful. Him and Dana also helped me to locate a cash machine when I needed it at night. Bashar and Jeries are both wonderful at reception. Dana, Fouadh and Falah all gave me great recommendations on food while ammo Munib was a joy to meet every time in the dining room. The food cooked by chef Zayd was wonderful each time! The brothers and sisters who were working in the dining room were always so friendly. This is just a glimpse into how wonderful the people who make up the hotel are and how our stay in Jerusalem, Palestine was made even better. Since it was Ramadan, we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel but my time in the hotel was really good and credit to the staff for this! There is an incredible view of Jerusalem from the rooftop pool. The shower in our en-suite was great. The hotel was very busy and buzzing, close to local shops and there were always lots of locals about. The hotel is adjacent to Salahuddin St which is fantastic. This is the main road and has most of what one would need, in terms of buying fruits, etc. Overall, a hotel I highly recommend. My greetings to everyone at St George :)

This is a hotel where the duty manager doesn't care about his guests. He smirks at complaints. Another staff member behaved threateningly after we complained. Facilities we had booked for were unavailable, such as the pool and lounge! Car parking was a nightmare! We had to move our car three times so, to claim car parking is a joke. There's room for a few by the front door so turn up early! Better still, book somewhere else. Don't eat here unless you enjoy chipped plates, no coffee and fizzy pineapple. Our twin room was a double, which they changed, their one success. Thanks to the receptionist, a pleasant man, who tried to help. This appears to be a hotel for large coach parties and they accept function bookings which use the facilities advertised for guests.

Great location, food a bit of an odd selection, dining rather cramped & very busy at the buffet - but the rooftop pool absolutely made up for any issues ! Awesome views across the old city - incredible!

The hotel was very busy. Many tour groups were using the facility, and as a couple, we felt a bit dwarfed by all of them. When we went to breakfast or dinner, it was hard to find a place to sit because most of the tables were filled. Also, the staff would work to refresh the food items, but there were many times I'd have to wait for food or plates or silverware. Our room was adequate but could use some updates.
