We were very disappointed by the service provided . We booked two rooms on the ground floor including one with an exit on the little garden . This room was full of humidity , and we literally couldn't sleep at night . The odor was disgusting, the walls were filled with mold marks and our sheets wet . I am attaching... More

The Hotel is located in a great place. Right in the heart of Ein Karem and allows you to tour the surroundings by foot. Their roof top terrace is also great. We loved the happy hours. The room on the other hand, was nothing like in the pictures. It was very roomy but damp with a distinct odor. We also... More

Alegra is a small boutique hotel, located in the heart of the beautiful Ein Karem - surrounded by nature and church bells. The hotel is small, cozy yet very luxurious - every little detail was considered and taken into account. We recommend the ground floor suite - across from Reception.

We had our mini- honeymoon in Alegra and had a great time!!! We spent 2 nights at the wonderful hotel. the rooms were clean and nice. the hotel is very quiet and near many resturants and many touristic points. we were sent to breakfast in Braseri resturant which was realy good and tasty. the hotel has a small swimming pool... No value for money. We paid more than 1700 NIS. At first we got a.room which was actually a basement. No windows, bad smell in the room, tiny bath which is actually part of thr living room. We almost gave up and left, and then they gave us a room which was slightly better. Still, pretty dark, and dump on... More

Rooms are beautiful but not well thought out. Biggest issue is the place is not well maintained. The public areas are poor - shabby pillows and such, and a few similar issues with the rooms. Service not very professional - like you were a casual acquaintance coming over. Not what we expected for these prices.

This is a beautiful hotel. The room was extraordinary, truly special. The breakfast is arguably the best I had in years. Delicious and beautifully presented. The downside relate to location and inefficient running of the hotel. The hotel is far from the centre. Public transportation is complicated and takes a long time. Taxis are expensive as it is a long... More

This wasn't your standard hotel stay. I felt like I was transported to another world during my time at Alegra. The staff bent over backwards to make us feel at home. We took the complimentary bottle of wine to the upper deck which is decorated with grape vines and overlooks beautiful Ein Kerem. The chirping of crickets and the little... More

Ein Kerem is the most beautiful place in Jerusalem area. Green mountains is a great view from every point of the hotel .The golden domes of the Russian monastery and bells of St.John church add a lot to the picture. Alegra is a very quiet ,clean, and sweet hotel. The food is great at a special chef dinner ! In... More

Perhaps not the most convenient location for sightseeing, but Ein Kerem is very pleasant and quiet. The main drawcard though are the amazing rooms, which are very comfortable and fantastically decorated. Also the open kitchen setup for the restaurant is superb - one of the best hotel breakfasts I have come across!
