Absolutely exceptional in every sense of the word, the room, the deco, the food and above the service 10/10. Staff could do enough to make us happy at all time all the time, the variety and quality of food was out of this world… this hotel should be rated 10 star in comparison to any other 5 star hotel I stayed (and I v been to many)
This was not our first time in this amazing hotel. This time we celebrated my husband's 60 birthday and we were impressed by the warm hospitality. Together with elegance luxury, extremely comfort room, delicious breakfast, and perfect location, we had a remarkable stay. Looking forward to come again!
At a recent week long stay at W/A Jerusalem, I was very impressed with the staff quality and the attention to detail. Really top hotel in the city of Jerusalem. Absolutely excellent. Cleanliness. Service was.top notch.
The rooms were little bit outdated but in a good maintenece. Overall huge hotel with nice and welcoming Lobby area. Perfectly located just in a few minutes from the old town. Stuff was very polite. I liked very much that many Armeninans were working in this hotel and they were doing their best to show a real armenian hospitality. Breakfasts could be better. Overall the hotel was good but for sure not worth the price.
The hotel is located in the holy city of Jerusalem very close to the old city. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming From check in to check out Breakfast is outstanding The only minor pitfall is the relatively high price
If I could add a few stars I would. I just returned from a 12-day stay. The service is 10 stars. They are all so helpful and kind that I feel like I am family with them every time I go back. It was my third stay and it was magical. Ihab the manager was superb in every way, Jerry the dining room manager made sure I was taken care of daily, and Aaron was the best waiter every morning. Mamoun made sure I had the table and location just right for each meal over the holidays, All the concierge help including Matan were above and beyond, Yael a manager in housekeeping could not do enough for us, Achmad who did my daily room service was the nicest and so pleasant to work with. Adnan the doorman was so warm and helpful and always with a smile. The food was delicious, and the flowers in the hotel were stunning. Paul gave a wonderful hot stone massage. The views from my balcony were breathtaking. All in all, it was wonderful and I look forward to going back. Thank you all!!…
I just spent 4 nights at the Waldorf over Passover. This is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in Israel and one of my faves ever in terms of comfort, decor, and service. Our room was beautiful and classy while modern. Bathrobes, slippers, feather duvets, bottle water and chocolates. The service at this hotel was incredible. They called just to make sure everything was ok and to wish us a good holiday. They randomly came up with snacks, chocolates and souvenirs. I highly recommend staying here - and it is across the street from the Mamilla mall and in walking distance to the old city.
I’ve been staying at the Waldorf since it opened average twice a year. I Allways complemented hotel management for their great service however this last stay was not the regular Waldorf stay. On 10 Tevet a fasting day Arrangements were made instead of breakfast room service will send sandwiches after sundown however it took more then an hour and half to arrive. If they would have told me in advance that they are short staffed I would have made other arrangements to break my fast. No operator was reachable after 10.00 pm It took hours to have someone pickup my shoes for a shoe shine Slippers were not supplied in the room I requested and did not receive it No shoe horn brush etc. pen quality went down down The beautiful Waldorf shopping bag was not supplied. In general this was not Waldorf service at most like a 2 star hotel. I loved the hotel and sincerely hope they will make the WaldorfGreat again…
I really enjoyed this hotel it’s position near the old city is exactly what I wanted and with a modern shopping mall next door it’s got everything. It’s very popular with visiting orthodox Jewish which makes for interesting experience but be aware of how the restaurant runs on strict kosher rules. We left on Shabbat and had to ensure certain things were ready like booking a restaurant for the evening early. Also we didn’t realise till late in the holiday that the doorman can give you water for the days experience. Everyone was very friendly and I would happily return.
Great to finally be back home at the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem after a two-year break due to COVID-19. You know that you back home in a very special hotel, when you walk in to the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem and everyone welcomes you as if you are family. It all starts with George, the smiling Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem doorman, always far-exceeding expectations. George is constantly ready to lend a hand. Ameer (the front office manager) is a superb, caring and super-friendly professional. Ameer has put together a great team that is always prepared to aid with any request. And Rami at the front desk, always so pleasant and fully dedicated to help all hotel guests. And we must mention the delicious breakfast at the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem restaurant gets better and better and better. Fuad, the Breakfast Supervisor remembered my special request from prior stays. Mammon, the weekend Restaurant Supervisor did a great job. Jerry from the Restaurant staff was super attentive to all guests. Yosef Naharay, the Friday night waiter, was terrific. Daniel Birger, long-time member of the concierge team is extremely friendly and professional. Every employee of the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem is terrific. Even David, from the overnight shift of the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem Security team assisted me at 5am when I had an emergency need for a taxi. I would give the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem 100 stars if I could!…
