Abraham Hostel was a peppy and fun place in the heart of Jerusalem. It's an easy walk to the Old City, close to the market and near museums and night life. The price can't be beat for this location. The staff was very friendly and helpful - they had good recommendations and clearly explained how to get around the city.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, choosing it for the great price, reviews, location near Jerusalem (tram just outside) and because we took a day tour into the West Bank, and pick up was from this hostel. We were offered an upgrade to a large room with a kitchenette, which we were glad of. The room was large with lots... More

The superfriendly staff made everything possible: from overbooked hostel to a 4 bedroom and at night we had the incredible chance to take part on a nightly discovery through different places of old Jerusalem( crying Wall, sepulchre church, west to east part..) it was a incredible and unforgettable experience!!!!

The rooms are OK, confortable and with fridge. The staff are all young, helpful and everyone speaks more than 2 languages. The breakfast (included on the prize) simple but tasty (and quite healthy too) A good place to stay.

I had a great time staying at Abraham Hostel! Their staff is very welcoming and helpful. The hostel is more than just rooms, they have a whole floor dedicated to hanging out with a bar, pool table, piano, kitchen, and free wifi! They also have classes you can take... I learned how to make hummus from an Israeli! It was... More

I stayed for 5 days in this hostel. It has everything you need. Its is clean and spacious (if it is not clean in the evening...ask the guests!). It is in a very good location and the tours they offer are really good. The staff was friendly and ready to help. I would definately visit them again.

This is surely the best hostel I have ever stay. Situated near main avenue 10 minutes from old Jerusalem town. Nice tidy rooms, good services, smiling staff and lot of events going on. And it`s realy easy to find fellow travelers here. Don`t forget to visit rooftop in the evening. Such cool place and such nice people. Simply the best... More

When we checked in, our first impression of our third-floor private room was that it was plain, but serviceable. But our admiration for the place grew daily. The location is excellent, only a 20-minute stroll down a lively pedestrian street from the Old City, and just around the corner from the wonderful food market. Our room was not only clean... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Abraham is known as the father of monotheism and was the first backpacker in the Middle East. He journeyed throughout the lands accepting hospitality from those whose homes he came to, and extending hospitality to anyone who passed near his tent. We wish to extend Abraham's Biblical hospitality to our time. We, the staff & owners of Abraham Hostels, created our dream hostel in Jerusalem to support travelers in the Middle East. The Abraham Hostel is located in Jerusalem's city center catering for independent travelers and small groups. Our location allows for easy walking access to all major sites such as the Old City or Mahane Yehuda Market. There are plenty of public transportation options right outside to various Jerusalem sites, as well as to the international airport and other cities in Israel and the West Bank. The hostel offers daily activities and tours in our ongoing effort to encourage travelers to make new friends and new experiences. Whether it's our hostel bar, traveler's information center or chill-out rooftop, we try to provide everything an independent traveler needs when travelling in the area. For those traveling outside Jerusalem there is a special discount when staying in Abraham Hostel Tel Aviv and the Fauzi Azar Inn in Nazreth, as well as special shuttle service between all three branches. ... more   less
