Certificate of Excellence
The Abraham Hostel is located in Jerusalem's city center catering for independent travelers and small groups. Our location allows for easy walking access to all major sites such as the Old City or Mahane Yehuda Market. There are plenty of public transportation options right outside to various Jerusalem sites, as well as to the international airport and other cities in Israel and the West Bank. The hostel offers daily activities and tours in our ongoing effort to encourage travelers to make new friends and new experiences. Whether it's our hostel bar, traveler's information center or chill-out rooftop, we try to provide everything an independent traveler needs when travelling in the area. For those traveling outside Jerusalem there is a special discount when staying in Abraham Hostel Tel Aviv and the Fauzi Azar Inn in Nazareth, as well as special shuttle service between all three branches.

Where can I park a rental car and how much will it cost?
There is a parking lot just beside. It cost 70 NIS per day. If you plan to park few days, park in one of the free parking of the train, and take the city train to the hostel.

We will have a layover in Haneada airport for 8hours. Any suggestions on sightseeing while there? Most likely in June 2019. Thanks in advance
Don't know where "Haneada airport" is. I'm sure it is not in Israel. Haneda airport is in Japan, but why would you ask me about Japan?

Planning a trip to Jerusalem/Jordan, have not decided where to stay, would like to travel to Egypt from Jordan or Jerusalem, is there an airport or train available.
Are children welcomed here, or is it just for college students. I have a 9 year old we will be taking with us in the June 2019. How far is it from Petra? Thank you
We stayed in a family room with our 9 and 11 year olds, and it was great. Petra is in Jordan (so you have to get to one of the border crossings), and it is pretty far from Jerusalem. It is closer to Eilat.

We are 3 older ladies - but not old! Can we get a room for 3 females or is the location strictly for youth? Mimi I am not a robot... I don't see where I am to verify that.??? Mimi
This hostel has the full range of demographics. Yes there are the young students wet behind the ears. There were also couples and singles in their 40s and beyond. While at the Tel Aviv hostel waiting for the shuttle to Jerusalem I saw a lady who was appeared to be in her 70s. No matter what your age, you are welcome here and will be comfortable!
