52 of us stayed here for 5 days. We all agreed that the rooms were very clean and spacious. Decoration was plain but it was probably only a colourful duvet cover away from looking good. The food was fresh and plenty, with the Hassan and his staff being friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the street was filthy and off putting but... More

The hotel is awful, filthy and in a location surrounded by street vendors. The staff and manager are rude, never been qualified or study hospitality. The room chamber doesn't know how to make the bed. He only covers the bed, leave it the way it is. He never ever change the sheets. This hotel needs woman and not men who... More

Hotel is exceptionally close to the Herod's Gate entrance into Al Aqsa. Conveniently located and gives you a sense of Palestinian life. Great service from the owner and his son. Good restaurants within 200m walking distance from the hotel. Hotel is basic but great value for money. Close to money exchangers and local supermarkets

Very good location in Palestinian part of town, ok internet and no bed bugs! Very nice staff, a bit worn down but for the price definitely ok! The breakfast buffet boring, but again: considering the price, it was fair!

The hotel is situated right outside the Herod gate into the walled city making it super convenient to explore. The decor and overall feel is a bit dated and compared to The George or American Colony this hotel is basic. Rooms are large though. They have a lounge area on the 1st floor where you can bring your food and... More

A great location and fair accommodation for Europeans in this amazing city. Not up to the standard we normally expect in Europe but good enough. No aircon so be prepared for very hot sleepless nights in summer! Meals are adequate and the place is clean enough. A noisy environment around the hotel can be off putting for those who do... More

Very basic hotel. Very cheap compared to other hotels in the old city. Has free WIFI. They have a basic breakfast. 5 min walk to the Damascus Gate. Many shops near by. I've stayed there many times, not the Hilton but if your on a budget then I highly recommend.

If you are seeing Jerusalem on a tight budget, the Rivoli may fit the bill. Yes, it is fairly basic though it does have wi-fi which is more effective you get to the lounge. The positioning is good, near to Herod's Gate for easy access into the Old City, with the Police Station and Post Office just across the road.... More

The rooms are basic, en suite but with a very odd shower set up, air con, no fridge, rooms at back are nice and quiet but with no view, although I don't think the front would be noisy. Older staff were great, younger ones OK. Breakfast was pretty basic and the coffee awful, large TV lounge, although I didn't see... More

I never give 1s. This place is absolutely horrible. Hot water only 5 hours per day. Horrible security. Keys left on front desk for anyone to pick up. While rooms are being cleaned all doors left wide open for hours. Locked in at night. Front door locked from the inside. Burn to death in a fire. Overbooked on 1st night.... More
