The location was great and easy access to the Old City and West Jerusalem. Even though we were told that the room was ready when we arrived we had to ask for the bed linen to be changed as it was dirty. The floor was not clean and was not vacuumed at all during our 3 day stay. Breakfast food... More

Location is good. It is near the old city. some rooms were renovated, but other rooms were old and not clean. please ask them to give renovated room. Staff members are kind. Breakfast is not bad, and instant coffee is delicious. They clean the room everyday, but it seems that they do not vacuum the carpet floor. It seems that... More

The room I had can be cold and drafty in winter as it has no heater. The room and bathroom offered basic neccessities. There's free wifi in the room and lobby. Breakfast spread was adequate. What I like best is its location - easy access to the shops and you can walk to the old city easily.

Many suggested west side but for my age, I want a no fuss, no frill hotel w/c is clean, safe and close proximity to stores, attraction and transport. Capitol Hotel for me has all these, added pro: staff are helpful esp Ayman, the GM. Hotel is old and dated but I can still see how beautiful the hotel was, in... More

We were here as a group for four days and although I must agree that the hotel itself is in need of some repairs and upgrades the bedrooms were clean, it was close to shops and just a short walk to Herod's Gate which made visiting the City of Jerusalem easy. The Management and staff could not have been more... More
