Only stay here if you must. Meaning - if you are Ultra Orthodox with food restrictions & have many children. We stayed here to be with family with these requirements. There are children everywhere. The elevators take forever. The Israeli breakfast is good but extremely crowded. I would not consider this a "tourist" hotel, rather an Israeli Hotel. I originally... More

The Ramada, located near the bus station and the new light rail as well as near Hebrew University and the Knesset is a quietly elegant hotel. Its rooms are very comfortable, its public spaces welcoming and its food, always changing and delicious. The indoor and outdoor pools and the modern gym make it an all season oasis. Because of its... I love the service at the hotel. The rooms are always very clean, great views from the rooms and overall it is a nice place to stay. We were treated really nicely by everyone. The food in the lobby is a bit pricey but it is a very relaxed ambience for dates and meetings.

Stayed here for a seminar in summer 2015. I was in the 'older' wing but the whole hotel felt remarkably shabby for such en establishment. The room was rather miserable and faded. Photos of world leaders at the hotel remind you of better days. The breakfast was acceptable but like much of the hotel, behind the times. The staff were... More

Stayed in the hotel for a Bar Mitzvah weekend, The hotel is very old and struggling to stay updated, my room was in a high floor, the business lounge is not operating on the Jewish weekend, The food was very good and the staff and service were good . Overall very nice.

The basic thing bringing toilet paper to the rooms you need to call and if they'll answer it still won't arrive. Such service is even worse then 1 star hotels. Don't come here even though the food is tasty. It seems that cleaning the room properly after last person even this they dpn't do you can find stuff of others.

Booked Renaissance Private Luxury Suite in Jerusalem for my family of six for two nights via bookings.com, worst mistake of my long travel career. Turns out the company is essentially only virtual, a single guy living in Florida misadvertising posh apartments in Jerusalem at the Ramada. He has taken off my card over a thousand dollars, more than twice the... More

Dear 545lincoln: Thank you very much for writing about your dealings with Renaissance Private Luxury Suites. Your complaint was taken very seriously and thoroughly investigated. We found that there is a tenant who is renting rooms in the Ramada Jerusalem Hotel and he is falsely advertising his rooms on Booking.com in order to make a profit. We are working to... More

My husband and I were treated to a weekend at this hotel (part of a group of altruistic kidney donors of which I am one) and we were very pleased with the room, which was spacious and clean and well appointed. The food and service in the dining room left more to be desired (though none of us left hungry).... More
