We wanted a hotel near the Hadar district of Haifa and something not too expensive. The Theodore Hotel fit the bill. We were hosting a Shabat Chatan and about 20 family members stayed in the hotel. It has a small synagogue which was more than adequate for our group. The rooms themselves were OK. They were clean and tidy, but... More

As a hotel manager I feel compelled to tell my story. The room we were in #1007 last night was horrible. It looked nothing like the photos online. Wifi was not working so we couldnt even see what we paid for... I would recommend spending $20-40 more and stay elsewhere, maybe Rothschild Mansion or Art Gallery Hotel nearby.

Great hotel, amazing service! Close to great coffee places and public transportation services. we had a sea view from our room and that was super cool. The receptionist was very helpful and informative. was a nice stay (and they have good deals and good massage therapist).

Being a multi storied building in the busy Hadar market area, amenities and with facilities all close by, makes this a good place for a short stay...good public transport/market and tourist spots all within short distances including the German Colony and The bahai gardens! The staff was very helpful and pleasant! Loved the books on each floor and lobby...I will... More

Not worth the money: I would have rather spent a bit more and stayed in a nicer neighborhood. The hotel is old and unkept at best. The front lobby has no access to unload the car: the garage is dirty and difficult to enter. The rooms are old and need paint: Saturday breakfast was plentiful, but the other days totally... More

Excellent budget hotel. basic, clean very friendly staff. Best WIFi I have ever had in a hotel. The hotel is not situated in the best area of Haifa but felt perfectly safe all the time. Has first class public transport outside the door. The theme if you can call it that is books evrywhere you look in the lobby there... More

Located in a 23 floor high tower, partly offices and partly hotel, between the religious and old commercail part of Hadar quarter. From the 17th floor view was good and it was quite. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was basic and clean, dinner nice and tasty. However, this is a much better choice as the Art Gallery 50 meters... More

This is a difficult hotel to find/access by car. You enter through a dark and dank underground car park through a shopping mall. One member of staff was on duty and seemed happy to tell you what was not available! The night I was there no food was available nor was the bar open, the nearby restaurants were closing and...
