The apartment is in a convenient and busy part of town - shops, restaurants, public transportation and taxis are easily accessed. Bus rides to the Baha'i gardens, to other parts of town, and taxis to the train station were convenient. The main street can be noisy, but the apartment is set back in a parallel space which is quieter. The apartment is self-catering, but some basic necessities that should have been provided were not: salt, pepper, hand soap. We expected to buy our own food, but don't want to buy a kilo of salt and pepper for a few days visit. And after a long journey, it is not nice being unable to wash our hands. The apartment is associated with a restaurant downstairs (same owner). The restaurant staff give apartment guests the key, but clearly don't know anything about the apartment itself and don't have a hospitable manner with people arriving sometimes after extremely long travel. Some training on this point would improve the experience. The cleanliness of the apartment was good, but not excellent. There was a broken side-table lying disassembled on the bedroom floor. The apartment is fully renovated in a modern style. When used in full, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a small kitchen and a small sitting area. The apartment may also be divided into two adjoining, private spaces as there is a lockable door between the two ensuite bedrooms and the possibility of two separate entrances. This can be good for friends / couples travelling together, or for a family with children/teens.

The place is centrally located. The place was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I slept like a baby. I was there 3 nights. No problems. Assaf was great help. The Mandarin downstairs great food. Thank you for the wonderful stay in Haifa. Love the city. I would definitely return.

So we arrived in Haifa and called the hotel for directions. The manager informed us that our reservation had been cancelled! She lied and told me that she had left me a phone message and had contacted Expedia (through whom I'd booked) Both lies. So we were left on Friday afternoon (Shabbat) with no place to stay after traveling all day. Thank goodness for Expedia who found us another hotel and paid the difference in price. Dissatisfaction doesn't even begin to describe our experience. BEWARE! Stay away!
