We stayed two nights at the Dan Eilat and have nothing but superlatives regarding our experience here. The hotel is big, looks new, is very well maintained and is located by the Red Sea. We had a "New Eilat Room" on the eighth floor, which was very large, had a large and immaculate bathroom with all the amenities expected, plus a nice balcony facing the swimming pools and offering beautiful views of the Read Sea. The room had everything expected, it was spotless, the bed had high quality linen and was extremely comfortable. The breakfast area was very large, modern looking, bright and the food choices seemed endless, all tasty and well presented. Checking in and out was a breeze and ... there's nothing else I could add. All together it was a marvelous experience!

After many thoughts and concerns because of the Corona, my family and I chose the Dan Hotel Eilat to transfer a summer vacation from 16-21.8.20. I must say that from the moment they entered the hotel, all my worries disappeared. The hotel is huge and kept all the rules of hygiene and corona guidelines, from capsules to the dining room and when you commit to arrive and not standing second in line, to serving the amazing and varied food served aesthetically and only by the staff. It in special pastries and plenty of desserts tailored to it. shapo !!! I would like to commend Galit, the director of the orders department, who was available to everyone with a smile and a quick response to my wife's birthday and the anniversary we celebrated. To a Amit, the reception manager for an amazing and dedicated service with a smile, to the Edgar of getting a service with a smile and gave us vouchers to popsicles for my kids. And last but not least, Lior, the hotel's general manager, for a quick response,flexibility and room upgrade with an amazing view and space.
I highly recommend choosing Dan Eilat for your next holiday that was beyond our expectations, especially during such a challenging period of the Corona. You met all this challenge and stress with a smile, courteous and fast service. Aspire! We are already marking the next holiday for Hanukkah very soon.

The Dan Eilat hotel is a solid international 4 star hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here. Check in was easy and we stayed in two rooms that were newly renovated and close to each other for a family of 5. We enjoyed sitting out by the pool, going on the waterslide and sitting in the hot tub. Service by the pool was very good with waiters coming by often with glasses of water and taking drink orders. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and adequate but not the same level of quality as the Ritz Carlton in Herzliya. At breakfast beware that they start clearing everything as the clock strikes 11am. We ate at the dairy lounge restaurant one night it was quite good. It was a much better option that the over priced buffet restaurant. It was very pleasant to sit at the lounge in the evenings having drinks. They have good selection of scotch and always provided us a double! Small gestures like this make a big difference. While this is not the most luxurious hotel that I have ever stayed at, if you are looking for a nice 4 star hotel by international standards for a trip in the winter to Eilat to relax I would recommend this hotel.

Dan Eilat which is situated across the street from the north beaches of the city offers both a relaxing atmosphere and a fun place to stay. The reservation and check-in process was smooth, fast and efficient, we got a room with a pool view that is also overlooking the sea beyond which was nice. The room is complete with bathtub, a shower, a curved large TV, a balcony, and a small kitchen unit complete with a cattle and a minibar. WIFI and room service is also available in all rooms.
I am also compelled to compliment the service of the staff which was polite, helpful and obliging.
All in all I really haven't got anything bad to say about my stay there and as such, Dan Eilat receives the rank of 9 on the Daniel Scale.
*The dishes offered in the in-room dining are large so order accordingly.

My wife and I just returned from Eilat, where the annual chamber music festival was held at the Dan Hotel. We have came there for the third time and will definitely come there again. Very good performers are always invited there, mainly from Europe. The service in Dan was always good, but this year it was just wonderful, many young workers who speak different languages, everything is very clearly organized. And the food was very tasty, after all.

We had another wonderful stay at the Dan Eilat. It's perfect for our family. The pools are well heated even when the air is cooler and have some great extras to keep the kids entertained - a water slide that's fun for grown ups too and a whirlpool. Great food, both in the main dining room with rich and varied buffets, in the lobby bar, by the pool and room service.
The kids club is truly exceptional, on two levels (plus a separate area for teens). When we arrive at the hotel the first thing the kids do is run to the club to say hello to Shachar, who runs the club. I've never seen someone working in a kids club with so much energy and genuine affection for the kids.
The family room is a really great choice - it's spacious and has a separate internal room for the kids to sleep in. The views over the bay of Eilat are gorgeous.
Finally all of the staff make you feel welcome and can't do enough to help. This includes the front desk, the cleaning staff, the life guards and the food and drinks teams. It's rare to find such a helpful and warm team.
We'd love to stay again soon.

Great hotel, clean, nice view, amazing service and even better meals.
We enjoyed a long weekend with our 1 year old son. The hotel provided everything for our son, bed (with head shield), dining chair, fresh fruit fresh soup (grinded for our request), sterilizer and more.
However, The room was too small for traveling with a child, I suggest booking a larger room..

On the positive side, the hotel had a nice tropical themed entrance area with plants everywhere and an indoor waterfall. There was an outdoor pool with similar theme and the location was on the beach.
The hotel accommodated our request for early check-out with breakfast lunchboxes that we could take with us since breakfast was included as part of our room rate.
However these factors did not outweigh the unpleasant experiences. Check-in took forever, we had our son with heatstroke and we needed some assistance to get to our rooms swiftly but no help was forthcoming. Later on we requested room service for our son but the kitchen could not produce any suitable plain fresh cooked food on request due to it being Shabbat.
The pool staff were very aggressive in making sure we felt very unwelcome at 6.30 pm trying to have a swim. The pool closes at 7 pm and despite this, at 6.30 pm we could not find any cups for the water dispenser, were completed ignored when we asked about ordering drinks to the pool, then staff started cordoning off the whole pool with a big barricade at 6.45 pm while we were still in it, leaving us a small passageway to exit the pool. We felt very unwelcome since the pool was not even closed at that time and we made sure we exited well before 7 pm so there was no need for all the harassment. Not relaxing at all!!!
Generally we found the pool area dirty and the bedrooms also were faded and old, with out of date carpets and furnishings. The hotel definitely had an 80s feel as if it was once a grand hotel, but no more. Despite this, it was crowded with locals so I am guessing they do not particularly need international tourists.

We just spent 3 nights at the Dan Eilat and it was the backdrop for a very memorable family vacation. The rooms were new, spacious, and offered great sea views. The variety of food at meals was large and delicious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful, particularly Debi from the main dinning room.
The pool has a slide and swirl pool for kids of all ages and the spa was hands down, pun intended, the best one in Eilat we've been to.
Overall a 5 star vacation, highly recommended.

I stayed at Dan Eilat for 7 nights and it was amazing! My best holiday ever! The hotel was so beautiful and clean, my room big, beautiful, quiet and clean and the view overlooking the sea was amazing with all the beautiful palm trees. Chocolate, fruits and other gifts were sent to my room (maybe because I'm a member of the e-Dan club, but still, it was so nice! I have never experienced a service like this). Everything was first class! All the staff was so kind and helpful, to my surprise some even remembered my name (even though there were so many guests at the hotel) and at dinner they remembered what I liked to eat. The staff also treated each other kindly, which was nice to notice. The food was amazingly good. I'm extra thankful for the gluten free options! Big thanks to the chefs and staff making breakfast and dinner and the waiters, all amazingly friendly. I loved the music playing at the pool area and in the dining room. The staff also came to my room with new towels in the afternoon and extra shower gel, such a treat! I loved that the beach was a part of the hotel and that you got towels for the beach/pool area from the hotel, it was so easy and convinient. It was really like being in paradise for one week! I hope I will be able to come back to the best hotel in Eilat. Big thanks to the people working in the reception, security and the rest of the staff, you are all amazing, helpful and so kind!

I think all the rooms have kings. Not sure I remember. The website Shoukd show you that.
I dont think they are being heated during the winter but they are definetely the most heated pools in Eilat , even in the summer.
