Our stay at Kibbutz Ketura has been wonderful. The place is beautifully located in the Negev Desert, the people are amazingly friendly and the free tour gives a good insight in kibbutz life and how the kibbutz is organized.

We stayed one night, had dinner in the central dining hall with the kibbutz people from whom we learned what kibbutz life means to them.

When we arrived, there were issues with the water system, but the compensating coffee and tea tasted well and some time later, everything was back to normal.

The room was large and clean, the welcome-cookies were a nice treat after the long journey, and the view from the backyard on the desert and the mountains was amazing.

Book ahead, because rooms tend to fill up quickly!

Great getaway for a long weekend. The rooms are nice, and the pool delightful. Close to hiking and not too far from Eilat if you want to explore. Given the Covid situation breakfast was brought to our room every morning, which we could eat on the patio.

Wow, my time at Kibbutz Ketura was truly amazing. Everyone was kind and helpful. Everything I needed was available and the entire facility was clean and well taken cared of. Max was so knowledgeable and made everyone in our group feel comfortable. The rooms were nice, the electronic key card access was definitely appreciated! Would definitely come here again!

Michelle was our tour guide on the kibbutz. She extended the time frame given to her, disrespected our staff and yelled at them. She disrespected our kids time and doesn’t stop talking. She has ruined our time at ketura and needs to stop running tours.

So welcoming. Clear and comfortable unit with AMAZING views of the Arava mountains. Our family of 4 had a fantastic stay and simply unwound. We recommend taking up the kibbutz tour and learn about the sustainability projects undertaken by the members.

Not actually a hotel, but guest accommodations on an entirely lovely working kibbutz.
We were treated as welcome guests from beginning to end and I hated to leave.
Not at all fancy but very comfortable, homey, beautiful and a lifestyle I could be very content with over the long haul.
Could not have been happier. Convenient to Eilat and the border crossing to Jordan.

We chose Kibbutz Ketura for a base near Eliot. The staff was wonderful and the rooms were quite nice. The food was - to put it kindly- indifferent but not bad. The best part was the tour. One of the founders took us on a tour and showed us all the wonderful projects they were doing. If you want to visit a very active, energetic traditional kibbutz - definitely go to Kibbutz Ketura.

My husband and I were birding in Israel and needed somewhere to stay in this area - the options were limited so we decided to stay here and overall we found it to be fine.

The receptionist was very friendly and the rooms very basic but clean. The dining experience was interesting - a bit like being back in school, lining up for your food in the cafeteria but this is a kibbutz so we knew what to expect.

This wouldn't be our choice of accommodation for a long period but for a couple of nights it was absolutely fine and I would be happy to stay there again if we ever needed to.

A very cozy guest house at a kibbutz out in the middle of the desert. We got there by bike from Mizpeh Ramon (another story). Very friendly. Adequate, but spartan rooms. Comfortable beds. Large screen TV's and kitchenette. We ate at the kibbutz dining room. Free Wifi in the cafe.
