I have stayed at a couple of Casa Nova Pilgrim Houses in Israel and I have to say the the one in Bethlehem is amongst the best along with the one on Mount Tabor. This Casa Nova is attached to the Basilica of the Nativity where it is said Jesus was born. Other Casa Nova installations in Bethlehem include the...

Clean, safe place to stay in the West Bank. Next to the Church of Nativity & many other sites. Convenient to all the tourist areas! Nice little coffee shops & gift shops just outside the door. Easy access to transportation.

Stayed here twice now and we loved it - this time for 4 nights. It is right next to Manger Square, very comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff and an excellent base if you are on Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, if you have the transport it also makes an excellent base to visit Jerusalem. Looking forward to going back

The hotel is similar to other Casa Nova hostels (e.g. Jerusalem and Nazareth) and is a fine place to stay on a Pilgrimage. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and well serviced. We ate group meals and all were well prepared and tasty. This was the only Casa Nova with TV in the bedrooms. If you want a...

This review is for Pilgrims. Come and stay overnight in 'The City of Mothers'. If you want (affordable) luxury hotels in Bethlehem you can find those too. But for what it is the Casa Nova is a best in breed. The Casa Nova Hospice (not the nearby Casa Nova Oriental) is a five story pilgrims Hospice that is located as...

First, let me begin by saying this is not a hotel that most westerners would be familiar with. This is a Franciscan House for Pilgrims. Therefore, the rooms will be very simple at best. All rooms except for a suite, have plain twin beds and little to no decorations. The bathrooms however are nice and roomy, but cold in the...

We celebrated the Orthodox Christmas in the nearby church and continued the celebration with lovely pasta! We had Arrabiata! The local wine was very tasty! But the best was the kind service of the young waiter! Thanks to him and the kitchen for the superb salsiccia sausage!

I have been to this place several times, the pasta is home made very very Italian, the location is great, the outdoor venue is amazing, service wise need to be enhanced, some training is needed, but overall; it a great place when you are in Bethlehem. Recommended big time.

Right on Manger Square gives this hotel the edge over others but it looks sad and weary and the small room we were in was shabby with a window facing onto public toilet (fortunately no smell) and over a rubbish area. Despite one of us having obvious mobility problems we were given a room about as far away from Reception...
