This guesthouse is little like a fortress in the middle between nativity church and Lutheran Christmas Church. It's hard to find, because there's rarely an address to find. The tourist informant was no help leading us 1,5km passing Mary's Guesthouse to the Rosary Convent. Therefore I marked it in the old city map so you can find it without irritation.... More

This is a very nice and quiet place, Great location, only 5 min. walk to Manger Square. The sisters are very kind and helpful. It's cold inside in the evening/night/morning (March), so bring a warm sweater. There are electric heaters in the rooms.

It's a very nice hotel/pilgrimage run by six nuns from different nationalities. You will have breakfast included in the roomprice and you can also order extra lunch or/and dinner. It's very clean and the water is hot, which is not always in this time of year in the Middle East. But the floors are cold so bring some slippers. From... More

We really enjoyed our time here. The sisters are very kind and attentive. It is a great location right in the middle of everything most want to see. It was OK for us but don't stay here if you want to stay out late and sleep in. There is a 9pm curfew. And they ring the bell for morning prayer... More

A really special place, and amazing value. Just off the main street and down a few steps, this is an oasis of calm, where delightful nuns ensure you have a wonderful stay. Our room was terrific with a lovely bathroom, and the cooked breakfasts were a treat. We were even invited to join the nuns in a sung Latin mass... More

You step inside from the frenetic streets of Bethlehem and it's a haven if tranquility. Beautifully converted old house with an interior "courtyard". The distant singing of the sisters wafts gently through the communal spaces. Very comfortable physically and emotionally. Many thanks to the Bridgettine sisters.

We stayed for 5 nights over Christmas in this absolute gem of a guesthouse. We had tried to get into the Casa Nova without success and Mary's House had been our second choice. With hindsight we are so happy that the Casa Nova didn't work out, as we far preferred Mary's House. The Casa Nova has much more of a... More

Great location right near the manger square. It was very clean but rooms and dining area were chilly! Limited bed arrangements (only twin beads). Food at dinner and breakfast was plentiful and delicious and simple. The Guesthouse was quiet but as it was January we were the only guests. The nuns were so nice and tried to find us mass... More

Stayed here in March. The sisters are lovely, gracious hosts. The rooms are immaculate and new, ours was sunny with great view, but on the small side. Great bathrooms, great showers. Comfy beds. Lovely roof deck. Breakfast is 'Italian' - not Palestinian - ummm... not so great but the coffee with warm milk was yummy.

We just came back from a month's trip to the Holy Land. We have stayed at this convent for 4nights. The first night we were lucky to share this convent with 3 other Christian pilgrims from Myanmar! The good: -about a 5 minute walk from Manger Square/ Church of the Nativity. -excellent views of Bethlehem. -great ambiance for pilgrims (sisters... More
