We went there as a big group for the camel wrestling weekend. It ended up raining so in the end the camel wrestling didn't happen. But the hosts really looked after us and made it a good experience nevertheless. I lost a pair of earrings while I was there, couldn't find them, and mentioned it to them. They found it... More

As others have said, the guesthouse is great, especially in winter. Quiet, excellent heating and blankets. Nice breakfast spread and the homemade dinner is fantastic. I stayed on the ground floor and there was absolutely no outside noise. May be a different story in peak season, but can't say. One small issue--via email with the brother I requested the homemade... My sister and I stayed here in the beginning of January and it was such a lovely stay. Firstly, the location is great and is a short walk from the Selcuk bus station and easy to find. We also walked to Ephesus, so it's not too far from it. The kindness and hospitality we were shown by Dervis and his... More

This is one of my all-time favorite places I've stayed recently. We stayed in the heart of winter when there are few travelers. We only had one night there, but had such a great experience looked into extending our stay but our airline tickets wouldn't let us. I was traveling with my husband (we're in our early 30s) and my... We had a lovely stay with Dervish and his family. The room was cozy and clean, breakfast was fantastic, and he service was warm and friendly. The location is perfect, close to the bus and train stations, Temple of Artemis, and about half an hour pleasant walk to Ephesus. Highly recommended!

Top marks go to Saziye, the owners sister, as the food and service provided by her was second to none - she was extremely friendly and prepared tasty Turkish dinners each night of our stay. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the bus station and easy to find. We visited mid January and although the hallways were very... More

Dervis and Sariye are really nice. As is said Homeros has a totally familiar atmosphere. Dervis prepared dinner for us and it was amazing, great chef! I would totally recommend it. It is a cozy and traditional turkish place, the rooms are decorated with lovely and beautiful objects that will evolve you in a warm and unforgettable atmosphere.

This is a wonderful, quiet homely place. the rooms are a bit small, but that is more than made up for by the food and friendly service. Our room had a small balcony covered with grape vines for privacy and shade. The restaurant has about 6 tables and has an open air feel about it. The roof top is a... More

I think my stay in Homeros pension house is the most memorable and wonderful when I traveled to Turkey last Oct'15. I love the house interior and decorations - very gypsy and traditional. I liked the home-cooked food that they serve. And most of all, I truly appreciate the warm and heart-felt hospitality of Dervis and Barbara.

We stayed in a double bed with en-suite that room is decorated in Turkish style. It's a small hotel but so warm. The location is near the bus station to go to Ephesus or Sirince with minibus and you can walk to Ephesus musem. Stayed Dec 2015, traveled with friends
