Absolutely gorgeous, traditional Turkish home style guesthouse. Nothing to fault. Lots of common areas to hang out in. We had a few hiccups with our trip, given the timing with the Turkey situation and the lovely lady was extremely helpful with assisting us to reorganise flights (using her phone and helping us find numbers). Turkish dinner was more than adequate.... More

Lovely room with fascinating decore and great bathroom. The breakfasts were wonderful. We ordered dinner and it was delicious. The sister and brother owners made our stay easy, safe and warm. They speak very good english. It's a family atmosphere. We met other guests in the communal dining/meeting area and shared stories and adventures. We had tea on the rooftop... More

I couldn't have found a more lovely and welcoming first stop in Turkey. Beautifully decorated rooms. Lovely 'lounge' floor to relax and take breakfast (which is great). Fab rooftop terrace to watch the sunset. Great location right behind St John's Basilica and with walking distance from the station. And welcomed like a friend by Saziye. Was very quiet when I... Dervis the owner  met us off the train from Izmir airport, which apparently he is happy to do for all his guests ( tip here, the train runs about every two hours from the airport to Selcuk from the domestic terminal. It's cheap -3Turkish lire per person - but can involve a long wait, otherwise it's a bus from outside... More

Beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms. The staff are helpful and friendly. It's a short walk to everywhere you need to visit in Selcuk. Drink tea and talk about everything! It's like going home to old friends. No rush just enjoy! Sit upstairs on the terrace and take in the view. Look for the storks and other birds flying nearby. It... More

A cosy pension with good value for money. The location is a very short walk away from Ephesus museum and St John's church and conveniently close to the main bus station. Dervis is a very sweet host who gives the guesthouse a relaxing, homely feel. The view from the terrace is marvellous! I would stay here again 😊

We went there as a big group for the camel wrestling weekend. It ended up raining so in the end the camel wrestling didn't happen. But the hosts really looked after us and made it a good experience nevertheless. I lost a pair of earrings while I was there, couldn't find them, and mentioned it to them. They found it... More

As others have said, the guesthouse is great, especially in winter. Quiet, excellent heating and blankets. Nice breakfast spread and the homemade dinner is fantastic. I stayed on the ground floor and there was absolutely no outside noise. May be a different story in peak season, but can't say. One small issue--via email with the brother I requested the homemade... My sister and I stayed here in the beginning of January and it was such a lovely stay. Firstly, the location is great and is a short walk from the Selcuk bus station and easy to find. We also walked to Ephesus, so it's not too far from it. The kindness and hospitality we were shown by Dervis and his... More
