Having stayed at many high end properties, I can attest to the fact that this hotel is very well managed. What makes a property stand out are the management and the staff. At the St. Regis Istanbul you are treated like family and the service by each staff member is highly personalized. The staff are genuinely friendly, courteous and always go the extra mile to accommodate your every request. We enjoyed every aspect of the stay, from the dining, the rooms, the spa, the committed personal training (thank you Mr. Ingir) to the mixology and bar experience (thank you Mr. Burak Ankara!). The managers for the Rooms (Mr. Ali Kaymak), Food and Beverage (Mr. Turgay Toygar), Housekeeping and maintenance departments, concierge, all the staff at the restaurants that I unfortunately am not able to name individually (Brasserie and Spago), all deserve high credit and kudos for their excellent service. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Istanbul!

We had a wonderful stay at the St. Regis due in part to its location and amenities, but mostly due to the amazing staff. I regularly stay at St. Regis/Ritz/Four Seasons usually at least once a month, so I am well versed in what to expect from a 5 star hotel. I'm happy to report that the St. Regis knocked it out of the park. Fast track VIP arrival service was arranged through the hotel. A uniformed agent met our plane and expedited us through customs & immigration. We were seamlessly transferred to our waiting car, a late model Audi with WiFi, water, masks, and hand sanitizer. After a 45 minute drive we arrived at the St. Regis. This hotel has a boutique feel which is lovely. It's warm and cozy and located next to the best shopping in Istanbul in addition to overlooking a large park. We had a park view suite (I am Marriott Titanium and used suite night awards for an upgrade which was confirmed 5 days ahead of time) with beautiful views and a large bathroom. The only, and this is minor, issue we had was that the suite's couch was not fit for sleeping. I sometimes sleep on the couch due to insomnia and other issues. I asked about switching to a different suite but unfortunately they were all booked. However, the Director of Rooms, Ali, personally contacted me to apologize and offer any assistance he could. His professionalism and genuine concern for the quality of our stay was very much appreciated. He checked on me multiple times during the trip and even stopped at our table to say goodbye on our last day. I can't say enough good things about him or his staff - they were truly 5 star. The hotel has several restaurants. Check out Spago on the rooftop for dynamite views and delicious food. Spago also has a lovely roofdeck that is enclosed in colder months. Great place to grab a drink looking out on the city. On the main floor there is a restaurant and an outdoor terrace. Breakfast, coffee, afternoon cocktails, etc. were all enjoyable due to the staff, good food, and good drinks. I didn't get any spa treatments but I did use the facilities and they are excellent. Not as large as the Iridium Spa in Cairo, but still a wonderful facility. But even if the hotel didn't have all of these amenities it would still be fantastic thanks to the staff. As mentioned earlier Ali took special care of us. A staff is only as good as its management and here management goes above and beyond. Every single employee interaction was pleasant, from the driver to the butler to restaurant chef. I suffered from severe jet lag on the trip and was up all hours of the night, sometimes walking around the hotel trying to tire myself out. The staff took good care of me at all times and regularly checked to see how I was faring, always there to offer something to eat or drink. When I needed to run an errand at Cartier the staff quickly arranged for the aforementioned car and driver to take me and return me to the hotel. When we needed a tour booked they did it quickly and easily. Any questions we had were swiftly answered by the fantastic concierge. Unfortunately, late on the last night I received word of a family emergency and had to leave for the airport several hours early, which ended up being around 1am. I was very upset but the staff could not have been better to me. They took such wonderful, genuine car of me, making sure I had everything I needed (and not forgetting anything the way you do in these situations) and calling the car and driver in the middle of the night. Their kindness and empathy blew me away and started the long, arduous journey back to the US on a reassuring note. Three days wasn't nearly enough time to see everything I wanted in Istanbul. I look forward to returning to the city soon and the only hotel I will stay at will be the St. Regis.

We had a very enjoyable and pleasant stay. The hotel is very elegant and the rooms are very comfortably equipped. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. They do their best to ensure an unforgettable stay and meet are personal expectations. Despite the ongoing pandemic, the personnel delivered a very guest friendly and warming services during our stay. Even without open SPA and rooftop terrace, it was still such a splendid experience. Special thanks to Mr. Ersin from the Brasserie who showed an excellent and superb performance whilst taking care of us at when dining. We are looking forward to coming back soon, especially after the covid-19 pandemic in order to enjoy the outstanding facilities and rejuvenate to the fullest.

This is probably hotel provides an experience that is near perfection. Check in is seamless, elites will be recognized in terms of upgrades and the highest level of hospitality, and the Bonvoy platinium and above breakfast is commendable. Despite visiting during Covid-19, I felt that all the brands standards were upheld.Butler service was on point as I never waited for more than five minutes for assistance. Everyone could speak English fluently including the room cleaner and the service was there for you but never felt invvasive (an issue that can be pretty common with the Butler Service). As mentionbed, in some other reviews the hotel has a gatsbyesque vibe which I can dig and I can imagine is fairly timeless.

This is my second stay at St. Regis Istanbul. The first time I was impressed, the second time I was wowed. It’s hard to beat an already high bar, but they just surpassed themselves. As I think about what made this stay special, the only conclusion I have is that it’s the people that make it so. The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful, but in the end they are no more or less special than other St. Regis or high end luxury hotel. What makes the difference at this property is their entire team that is warm, professional and very dedicated. Literally everyone always greeted us with a smile and by our names. We came in the middle of the second wave of the pandemic and there were no restaurants open outside of the hotel. But the hotel managed to make every night special. From professionally arranging our take out food from other restaurants to cooking delicious and off-the-menu items. Revna: Thank you so much for making the entire stay special! You are the best guest experience manager we have ever ever encountered. Nazli: you are very special to all of us. Baby Gab looks forward to staying here again because of you! Butler team: you are top notch! Better than all the other St. Regis’s we’ve stayed at. Particular mention to Mehmet who always put up with our complex requests and figured out how to accomplish them and to Ersin whose warm, efficient and attentive service we’ll never forget (You’ll be on baby Gab’s unforgettables too!). Brasserie Team: we looked forward to having breakfast or a drink or dinner each and every time. Your friendly and can-do attitude is fantastic. Special thanks to Murat, Yahya, Iiker, Chef Faruk, Ersin and a few more whose names we forget! Sorry for that! Bell service desk: your ability to anticipate our needs is very impressive! From taking care of the taxi when our credit card wouldn’t work to giving our baby a book for coloring so he would be entertained or preparing us a drink to take on out way to the airport. Special thanks to Ercan and Urku (sorry for misspelling your names!) Front Desk: i feel the front desk is always at the receiving end of trouble and rarely gets the credit for making a stay fabulous. I know you are always there doing just that. Cuneyt, Berfin, Mustafa and everyone else, thanks for everything. Last but not least the professionals at the concierge team! Always ready with the best recommendations! Dilara and Alida are both top notch! They have knowledge of everything and anything, from restaurants to the most random shopping requests.
