I stayed at five-star hotels in Istanbul, but my last stay at Amiral Palace Hotel was a great experience, an exceptional hotel of cleanliness and covid 19 precautions, spacious rooms, especially the executive suite, and delicious breakfast, great SPA and its wonderful location in the vibrant heart of Istanbul in the Sultanahmet area, But the exceptional in this hotel is the distinguished staff, especially the hotel manager, Mr. Serkan and Mrs. Mona and all the hotel staff members. They were really helpful and provide you with all the help you need and you feel like at your home and among your family. Of course, it will definitely be my permanent choice of Amiral Palace Hotel for my stay in Istanbul, again thank you very much dear Serkan your hospitality and attentional.

Forget the large hotels and their brand names, come visit the Amiral Palace hotel in the heart of the bustling Sultanahmet district. This hotel is simply everything you want in a hotel. It is a superlative example of a bijou hotel with an eye for detail. The rooms are furnished exquisitely with high end finish. The bathrooms are superb, boasting beautiful tiling and luxury shower. The bed furnishing is high end specially tailored duvets and cushions. The room comes with mini bar, tv, Wi-Fi, coffee maker and safe. The hotel boasts a pool, spa and exercise room. Breakfast is served on the top floor in a fully glassed dining area with majestic views of the entrance to the Bosphorus and the Asian side.
Location is perfect as both the Hagia Sophia and the Blue mosque are a 10 minute walk away with the Topkapi palace some 20 minutes away by foot.
I must give my unconditional praise to the manager Serkan Ustonol and his team for making this probably the best address in Istanbul. It hits top marks and deservedly so. We shall return and be recommending this address to all our friends.

Located in the heart of old town a 7 minute walk to Sultanahmet Square, the Amiral Palace Boutique Hotel is a quality option offering quiet comfortable rooms and good service. Amazingly we never did hear the call to prayer from inside our room. I had reserved a deluxe room but we were given a suite with a kitchenette in one room and a bedroom in another. The space was clean and well maintained with all the usual amenities, coffee and tea service, albeit instant coffee, safe, hair dryer, and a good Wi-Fi connection. The bed was OK but not super comfy. Although we did not cook in the room it was well equipped with cookware and an induction cook top. The bathroom was moderately spacious with a roomy shower and good water pressure. The hot water wavered a bit when others in the building were also using water.
The breakfast buffet is served in their roof top restaurant and offers a wide variety of choices. Hot and cold buffet items include a several egg dishes, an extensive array of olives, pickled items and other salad offerings, as well as multiple bread and dessert choices. They also had a wide variety of cheeses and cold cuts. Their fruit selection was on the minimal side with only a bowl of fruit salad and a tray of watermelon. The restaurant is a lovely space to start your day with 360 views over the sea and town.
We had a couple of meze dishes in the restaurant the day we arrived - hummus, a cold salmon dish, and babaganoush. Although the dishes were reasonable they were a bit pricier than other restaurants in the neighborhood.

Superb hotel! Unrivalled excellence in every department. Customer service; rooms; location; food…The jewel in the Sultan’s crown. You must stay here! From the first day I was made to feel welcome, the atmosphere and smiles of the staff complimented their attention to detail. The room was superb! Clean, actually spotless. The food was second to none, variety, flavour and a beautifully presented.
As for the location, the Amiral Palace is by far the best hotel in Sultanahmet.
Thank you!

The hotel is in a very busy tourist area within a few yards of a street filled with restaurants and bars and conveniently located within a few minutes’ walk of Ayasofya. However the hotel itself is very quiet – our room overlooked a side street with little traffic and was well sound-proofed with little noise audible from outside or elsewhere in the hotel. We were glad that we opted for a de luxe corner category room, which was of adequate size, but less expensive rooms may be on the small side – see earlier reviews. Breakfast was good and the restaurant has an excellent view over the Bosphorus. The staff (on reception and at breakfast) was very helpful and efficient, especially Orhan on the front desk. The swimming pool was nice, but seating is limited and the pool surround is very slippery.

I stayed at this property with my family and multiple age children in June 2023. I have stayed in some of the top luxury brands in my travels and I am absolutely amazed by the service standards in this boutique hotel tucked away in a corner of a very busy tourist district. The rooms are beautiful and the service outstanding. The hotel staff are very attentive - from my pre-arrival communications, to a smooth and warm welcome at check in and outstanding service during our stay itself. We felt relaxed and pampered. We stayed in the executive suite, which had a separate living area with sofa bed and fits an additional extra bed. The attention to detail in the room design and finishings was something I appreciated. There is a luxury feel that matches the likes of Mandarin Oriental and the Ritz. Absolutely stunning. The view of the Bosporus was also such a treat to wake up to every morning, and to watch the sea gulls. We also made a request to change our breakfast (included in the rate) to dinner as we were fasting for Arafah and they obliged easily. Keep up the hard work and thanks for always making us smile during our stay - Teşekkürler!

P.S. For Muslim guests, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are 8min walk away but there is a small masjid just down the street called Ishakpasa Camii if you don’t feel up to the uphill trek. Rumist cafe is also one option that does not serve alcohol.

The staff was EXCEPTIONAL!!. Everyone was super helpful. If I could rate the service at 10 stars I would.

The room (we had a corner room) was very nice and extremely comfortable. The toliet had a built in bidet and the shower had a rain and hand held shower.

A room like this in the U.S. would easily be triple the price.

Amiral Palace hotel in the Sultanahmet Area was one of the highlights of our trip. We went as a family and had 5 rooms. Some rooms are bigger than others due to its unique design but the cleanliness, the amenities, and the service staff were superb. Sarah who works in both the restaurant and the concierge was welcoming and super helpful. She helped us book an excellent Turkish hammam for 8 adults and car services. She was always smiling and welcoming to our party of 10 who hung out in the lobby around her desk for hours on our 8 day trip.

The breakfast buffet was to die for and the view from the restaurant is unbelievable. The location is very convenient as you can walk to all the mosques and attractions, the bazaar and main streets. It is a 15 min walk from the grand baaar, and a 15 min cab ride away from any main attraction across the bridge. There is a quaint terrace in the middle of the hotel which is beautiful and peaceful. The bathrooms are modern, clean and updated. The hotel boasts a pool, spa and exercise room. Breakfast is served on the top floor with an amazing view. Sarah and other servers feed the birds in the morning which is a sight to see. We will be back 🙏🏼

I am writing a review as an employee of the tourism business. The hotel is located very conveniently, 5 minutes and you are on the square, 5 minutes in the other direction and you are on the embankment. The hotel itself is clean, the rooms are too small for me (I looked at the rooms of all categories for work, the corner and the corner are excellent, the rest are cramped for me). breakfasts are very good for Istanbul. Of course, in this location there are restaurants with Moscow prices, but if you walk around the streets you can find many good and inexpensive ones. If you want value for money + cleanliness, I recommend it

This place was a lifesaver for us after we were turned away from a pre-booked hotel at 9 PM on arrival from the airport! We arrived very late and tired with a sleeping 4 year old and were met with smiles and wonderfully accommodating staff.

Because of what was a very last minute booking we did end up with a twin room (2 single beds) for 2 adults and a child - so this wasn't ideal. The room was very small particularly for the price and so we probably would have been very disappointed if it weren't for the circumstances. I believe other rooms are bigger however and all in all it was a very comfortable room apart from the size.

Breakfast was fantastic and served on the roof top terrace. Typical Turkish buffet breakfast with a few different hot food options each day. This could be a little hit and miss although 2 out of the 3 days we were there were fantastic.

Other than that the location is absolutely fantastic and right in the heart of Sultanahmet. Restaurants a stones throw away but still a very quiet spot. Also minutes walk to the main tourist attractions ie The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Basilica Cistern amongst others.

Thank you Amiral Palace Hotel for making what could have been a disaster few days in Istanbul a highlight!
