Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.

Horrible experience. According to my experience, I give the one star only for the good location of the hotel. * We booked an economic room (without window). What we did not expect that the air conditioner is working only in heating mode. The room temperature do not get lower than 27°C. Moreover, the bathroom ventilation is not working. So after getting a shower or using the hair dryer, the bathroom/room are getting extremely hot. * We were obliged to keep the air conditioner turned off. After 3 days, we started to feel the stagnant air in the room and bathroom. After 5 days, we had to keep the room door open for some aeration. * The electricity get often down (2 times in 5 days stay). Once was when we were preparing to leave the hotel, we were packing using our mobile torches. * The breakfast is very modest for a 4 stars hotel. Basic breakfast food with a low quality. When some food is finished from the buffet, it will not be replaced/recharged. Therefore, we had to come earlier. * Most of the personal are unfriendly and unprofessional. They remained non-cooperative when we reported the air conditioner problem.

I chose your hotel to stay this weekend. No window in my room, I can't get oxygen. I suffer of breath due to my health problem. I asked your reception, I didn't recognized not having a window when I book the room. Only thing the stuff does is bargaining with me. If you put an animal here it can not stand in this room 10 min. We have seen so many rooms without window but here there is nor air-conditioning nor oxygen. WORST HOTEL EVER NEVER EVER THINK TO STAY HERE. Please look at the picture. No oxygen here. Never pay your money here. Air condition is not working. We are burning out here. The employee is very rude and he said we cant cool this room. What?!!! Why are you doing such kind of service industry. You deserve the worst!

It's not a 4 star hotel. If you have no trouble with hearing your neighbors snoring and talking it's a great location for the price. The personal is rude but a lot of personal in restaurants and coffebars is with tourists in Istanbul. Go where the residents Go!

In overall, It was not a good experience. When you enter the hotel the first thing you see is receptionist. In my stay there was a horrible receptionist named MARTCAN (a turkish guy with a Genghis mustache), He was rude, very offensive and with terrible attitude. (if I wanted to rate this Hotel based on his attitude, I would have to give just 1 star) On the other side, a very welcoming man with perfect behavior and very friendly smile, cheered us every morning at breakfast saloon, name MEHMET (a nice guy with Short bare hair and smiley face), I really thank him for the perfect atmosphere he is making every day. Also, the other morning service staff was great. Thank them both. Apart from that, the air conditioning system of rooms was really really bad. We couldn't sleep at nights, the air flow directly was blowing at our faces and we did not have a good sleep during our stay. The overall room service was disappointing. the rooms clearance was not OK. Our cups (in room) was dirty we had to wash our cups to drink something in the first day. The lighting of rooms was bad (dark). The Hotel is located in a perfect place in the city, really great public transportation around, and perfect tourist attractions really close to hotel.
