Although my room was quite small, the hotel location is perfect in the heart of Istanbul. The room service, reception & bellboys all are great and helpful guys. Food quality was below average but I used to eat at local restaurants as Turkish local food is very delicious. Overall, I will stay at Bristol again whenever I return back to...

(around 100m away from it), restuarants, supermarkets and pubs are around as well as the metro station is 3 mins walk from the hotel. The staff can speak and understand arabic as well as...

We chose this hotel for its location. A perfect one. We found a cheap hotel with friendly staff but amazingly dirty rooms. The wallpaper was exfoliating, the bathroom was extremely dirty like it was never cleaned. I will not go again.

The hotel's only pro is that it is very close to Istiklal Street as its located on a side street from Istiklal St.., just 3 min walking. Rooms are very small and not cleaned well. Hotel staff are so unfriendly and not helpful at all.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
