Nestled on a quiet street yet close to key attractions, Sirkeci Mansion captivates guests with its traditional charm and enchanting balconies, though a few areas could use a touch-up. The spotless rooms and commendable cleanliness receive consistent applause, while the heartfelt service and thoughtful touches like free tours and afternoon tea elevate the guest experience. Despite some calls for room updates and improved soundproofing, the extensive amenities and the prime location garner appreciation. Opinions on value vary, with some deeming it reasonable and others less convinced.

I had the best experience in Sirkeci Mansion Hotel. The location is great in terms of reaching key places in the historical peninsula and the transportation options i.e. tram, Marmaray, ships, bus stations. All of the staff is very cautious about COVID-19 restrictions, sanitary requirements, and small details as well as professional and helpful while they work. You could ask Mr. Okay Alkan many questions about the historical places and where to visit in Istanbul. I definitely recommend Sirkeci Mansion Hotel.

If I had to recommend a hotel in Istanbul to my best friend, Sirkeci Mansion would be it. Its location in a quiet street in terms of traffic, but with little shops of all kinds that liven up the atmosphere is perfect for exploring the main tourist sites of the city. The breakfast is excellent, abundant and complete. The cleanliness of the rooms is also noteworthy: they change the towels every day and do not forget to replenish the water bottles and sachets of tea and coffee, which is not usual in most hotels. But its greatest asset is undoubtedly its staff. Friendly and smiling, they always find a moment to chat if you want them to, giving you the feeling that they have all the time in the world to listen to you, no matter how busy they are. Araz, at the head of the whole team, exudes joy and good vibes along with great professionalism. He enjoys his work so much that he manages to create a relaxed and familiar atmosphere among the staff. Although they are all great, I would also like to mention Fatima, smiling and making sure that nothing is missing at breakfast and Sircan, kind and polite, offering you tea with a big smile whenever the occasion arises. Thank you all. I will be back.

Don’t think twice this hotel has got it all though it’s not a chain nor a known hotel I took the chance and it was very much worth it.
Location in a vintage authentic neighbourhood is 5 min walk from all major historical sites, 1min to Tram & 5 min to train station beside having lots of very reasonable bazars next to you adding to that all the best dinning areas are 4 min walk from hotel so location is spectacular.
Hotel itself is small from outside but spacious from inside , rooms are very clean and renovated, got spa, sauna, pool, gym & a very nice panoramic rooftop, View from the room is on Topkapi palace ancient stone wall with lots of seagulls flying by.
Breakfast is very good and tasty all that you need basically yet the coffee is not good but you can order a double Turkish coffee for 2$ which is way better than espresso.
The hotel in brief could be a signature hotel with its wooden old style yet modernised.
Rooms got all amenities needed, boiler, free water so you needn’t buy anything nor Cary anything on your way back.
Now the cherry on the top are the employees in this hotel from the smallest rank to top management they literally go out of their way to give you a memorable experience, very experienced they will guide and help you plan and book your excursions, very attentive to details so a big thank you to all as won’t mention names afraid to forget anyone but they all made a great family trip a memorable one

What a great boutique hotel to stay to explore old Istanbul on foot.

Unbeatable location opposite the green Gulhane park and short walk to both tram and Marmaray stations, we lived in the atmospheric Sirkeci area but only a few stops from downtown Istanbul. We stayed in a deluxe room on the 5th floor and loved the privacy and the space especially the balcony and the bird calls from the park in the morning and evening.
We stayed in a deluxe room on the 5th floor and loved the quiet and the space especially the balcony, the bird calls in the morning.
Personal service right from chatting on the phone prior to arriving to arranging a cab from (the faraway) airport to suggesting local travel, shopping and eateries and including getting us fruit platters from the local shops! Many, many kudos Araz and team.
A very clean room tidied every day by a diligent and thoughtful team.
If you wish to explore Sultanahmet on foot, ask Araz to call Mehmet, the best tour guide we have met.
We will definitely visit again when the effects of the Covid pandemic are well in the past
Criticisms?
The restaurant and bar are down currently and so is the rooftop terrace.
Room service is (currently) almost non existent. We missed a fresh hot coffee in the morning as early risers (they need coffee machines in the rooms!).
This review acknowledges the effect the pandemic has had on hotels in general and applauds this hotels' staff for their dedication, dignity and warmth.

This review is hard to write in a few words and it's been long overdue. Firstly let me just mention the great people who created this memorable experience for my family - Br.Okay, Shukru, Enver and Sr.Fadime. Even the Housekeeping lady was full of kind words and smiles everyday.
I have seen many a hotel but none with so much Genuine Hospitality and Selfless Sincerity...I'm trying to choose my words based on what I experienced.
From the moment My family and I entered the hotel upto the time we left there was attention to detail for our family travelling with kids. Our room was clean, set up with a cot and every request we had for our kids were attended to.
There was an elderly guest who had stomach upset and he came down to the lobby asking for some extra water. The staff responded immediately and attended to his needs, gave him some extra rehydrating drinks and sent someone up to escort him in case he needed any extra assistance.
The hotel is a stone throws away from the tram station and equally close to a Gulhane park that holds within it such an impressive Science and Technology Museum.
Breakfast was excellent and plentiful true to Turkish hospitality and I noticed all work amongst the staff ran smoothly and efficiently.
Our family was really surprised and appreciative of the wonderful cake that was presented to out little one as it happened to be her Birthday..she remembers it well and delights in it's memory until today.
The only thing I would like to mention is that this hotel is found in the Historical District Istanbul so naturally the buildings and rooms will be slightly smaller than what you would expect at the Grand Hyatt for instance. Where it lacks space, Sirkeci Mansion makes it up with Generous portions of Heart.
In my recently learnt broken Turkish... Chok Guzel and Allah Razos Olsun to All the Staff of this wonderful property.

Stayed in this hotel at the beginning and end of our holiday. I felt very Covid safe here, with temperatures taken each time we came in. Breakfast was a set menu, plates of meats and fruit and bread wrapped in cling film. Freshly cooked plates of fries and omelettes. I’m sure prior to Covid the breakfast were better, but these were tasty and plentiful. The waitress was efficient and friendly.
The rooms were clean and nicely decorated.
The reception staff were really helpful and pleasant. They recommended a really lovely restaurant that we would not have found ourselves 360 panorama restaurant just round the corner. It was a brilliant suggestion.
We were so busy, we didn’t have time to use the pool.
The hotel is ideally placed near to the tram (you need a card) and main attractions.
It’s unfortunate that the use of plastic in hotels has increased so much during Covid. It would be good if they could look at reducing this whilst remaining safe.
I would thoroughly recommend this great hotel.

The location of this hotel is excellent--located across a narrow, untrafficked street from Gulhane Park, an easy walk from Topkapi Palace and Aya Sofya. Because the street is not really a through-street, our taxi left us off near the tram stop. The tram is only 150 feet away, but it was a little disconcerting rolling our bags to the door of the hotel. Nevertheless, Taya Hatun Street is very quiet. We felt very safe on the streets, even at night. The staff is professional, the breakfasts were hearty with great variety, and our stay was very enjoyable. Our room on the second floor was rather narrow and small, but we do not travel with the expectation of spending much time in the room other than sleeping. The beds were comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at Sirkeci Mansion. We chose this hotel to accommodate the mobility of older family members who needed ease for getting about town. Being in a flat part of the city helped for travelling by car or Tram. The stop was right outside, also some small shops for ease of getting fruit and drinks at reasonable prices. The main sights were also a short walk away. The staff were so helpful, especially for arranging a private day trip to Bursa for us!

The breakfast was good too, with a wide range of options that changed regularly too. There was also an afternoon tea and bagel service provided free to guests. This was really lovely way to get to know the staff and other guests too or for when taking a quick break between sightseeing stops.

The rooms were spacious enough. I would suggest the bathroom decor could be updated but otherwise it was clean and everything was functional.

When choosing an accommodation in a big city, location if for me the most important thing, and the location couldnt be better in my opinion than at Sirkeci Mansion ! Its right in the centre of the old part of european Istanbul, in a quiet side street, with so many things in walking distance. Gulhane Park is right infront of the hotel, its a short walk to Galata bridge (great for fish restaurants) and Eminönü ferry pier (for ferries to other parts of Istanbul and a lot of atmosphere). Topkapi Palace is in easy walking distance, as is Haya Sofia, the Blue Mosque, the Egyptian Bazar, and many restaurants and shops. If you dont like to walk, you have a tram stop just about 50 meters away, and Marmary train station also close by.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and with everything you need (some include a tiny balcony, which I really liked). Breakfast is a small buffet, okay but nothing special.

Two small downpoints: the small indoor pool is in the basement and not much fun to use. And the roof top terrace was a bit of a dissapointment, probably due to the whole COVID situation.
