Terrace bar and restaurant commands an impressive view of the Blue Mosque, Saint Sophia and Topkapi Palace. One could scarcely imagine a more gorgeous location on Earth. One of the oldest prisons of Istanbul and a good example of Ottoman architecture is in front of us, which is Four Seasons Hotel today. Rooms include clean bathroom and 24 hours hot water, orthopedic beds, TV, and phone.

With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.

We had lunch on the roof terrace. The food was basic but blissful. We had a great view of the two mosques and the bospherus. Especially recommended with sunny weather. The staff was friendly and very fast.

"The rooms are great the view is wonderful"
"Take a lower floor room to avoid Climbing as there is no Lift. Small hotel with only 9 rooms, with 3 rooms in each floor."
"We stayed in suite 103 and 203 both. While 203 was a bit bigger, 103 had the newer washroom. But both are wonderful rooms!"
"Although all rooms are very nice I suggest to choose the one with a balcony on the 3rd floor as it is really very charming with a splendid view from the balcony!"
"Request the larger rooms (I'm sure they cost more, but the small rooms are REALLY small)."
