We had a few brilliant days but a guest popped inside our room. A LIZARD. We informed Ali Budak and he came but didn't change a thing at all. Instead he came to talk to outsiders and smell some cologne. I would love to see Ali get fired and also they should have a few extra rooms. Overall it had...

1. Hard to find the place at first, hard to walk on the egg-rocked path all way long when carried with a big luggage. 2. Poor attitude of the staff. First day he upgraded my room without telling me, so I thought that's the room I booked. When I checked out, I asked him if the room was different compared...

We stayed at Haseki Sultan Suite House last year, hence our return implies that this hotel was worth staying at again. However, our initial thoughts of the hotel maintaining its standards of last year has greatly diminished. The cleanliness of the hotel last year was perhaps the biggest incentive for our return - yet the cleanliness of the hotel was...

My sister and I have stayed in Istanbul for 4 days in May 2015. After done a hundred searching for hotel in Istanbul, we ended up choosing Haseki Suite Hotel. Most of the previous reviews are in the good side with high rating and we experience that it's true. Location and staff are the strongest points for this place. The...

The location is perfect all sight seeing and shopping locations are in walkable distance . They don't have lift , but the manager is very helpful and carried all our luggage . The stay was very comfortable . There are quite a few good restaurants close-by.

The host is nice, friendly and helpful. He is an interesting person and we had nice chats. The room looked very new and well-decorated. The location is near to tramway station, and there are many mini-stores, restaurants and shops nearby.

The Haseki Sultan Suite House is tucked down a quiet side street, local to the main metro link through Istanbul and very close (5 minutes walk) to all the main sights, such as the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapı Palace, Basilica Cistern, etc. The hotel is very clean, with rooms sizes between decent and large. The rooms all...

Thanks to an upgrade of an aparthotel next to this building we enjoyed this beautiful hotel only for one night. (then the second day we moved to our hotel). Anyway, the room was not big but really wonderful with modern Turkish details. I checked on the web and the price per night was more or less 80 euro. The private...

Very close to all tourist attractions, safe area, the apartment was very clean and serviced every day. Idris, the manager, is awesome - always there to help with advise or address concerns. His English is excellent. The apartment is sound proof so we were never bothered by the noise outside. I would definitely recommend!!

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
