I stayed at Vault Karakoy for one night. Was very impressed with the level of service and attention to detail put into my short stay. All the staff were very welcoming. Loved, loved, loved the view from my balcony. Great location - in walking distance to great restaurants, cafes, and shops. I would definitely stay again for a longer visit...

During my trip to Istanbul, I was looking to immerse myself into a neighborhood. While I wanted to visit historical sites, I also wanted to limit cab rides during my four night stay. This hotel is the perfect location for anyone who wants to explore local neighborhoods, and still be in walking distance to the major tourist destinations near Sultanahmet....

Loads of people said I was mad to be going to Istanbul in the current tense situation. My friend had stayed here a lot and I am so pleased I followed her recommendation. First - the staff were very friendly. They couldn't do enough for us. When my room was a bit cold they came in immediately and sorted it...

I arrived in Istanbul on 6 January, just before the heavens opened and heavy snow fell. from the minute I stepped through the door the service was excellent. It is a amazing building full of old world character and charm. The staff were polite helpful and welcoming. Rooms are clean tidy well equipped. Hotel facilities are first rate. Everything about...

Arrived on a windy, rainy evening in Istanbul so stepping into the warm comfort of the Vault was the perfect way to relax. The staff were very friendly, attentive and spoke English elegantly. One gentleman, Semih, kindly offered me a room upgrade at no extra cost. The room was large, clean and had a very modern design. The bathroom and...

We had a layover in Istanbul for one night during New Year Eve. The location of the hotel is great just next to Galata bridge where you can easily walk to spice market and take a tram for 2 stops to Hagia Sofia. It's also easily access to Taksim via the funicular. You can travel from Attaturk airport with taxi...

Love the decor and location of this hotel. Just a stone's throw from Galata Tower and Galata Bridge and around 1.5 km from Taksim square. this hotel is accessible by tram. However, if you come from the airport with rolling luggage, would suggest to take a cab directly from the airport (which would cost around 55-70 Turkish Lira).

Don't look for any other hotel. This is it! This is a boutique hotel in an old vault building. High celings, bar and rooftop patio are superb. Staff is great. Location, location location! Walking distance to old town or new district. Tram is 3 minutes away.

I stayed in this hotel halfway through my week-long trip in Istanbul. From it's architecture (the building was an old bank), to its furnishings (the old-school elevator in particular), to its rooftop restaurant & bar (offering fabulous view of the Golden Horn), this is a destination on its own right. I loved the location as well, as it's a good...

This gorgeous boutique hotel impressed right from the start. Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
