We were upgraded to the top floor (thank you!). No matter the cost, just book it! There is a fabulous view, sunset wine on the patio, quiet, beautiful room. There is a good (short) run from the hotel with good views of the bridge and Bosphorus.
It was amazing time which we spend in Ajia hotel. Atmosphere was great, kind personell which helped with every our needs and thank you for that. Safe and clean . All was great. For next time we decided to be back to this hotel.
We spent four glorious days in what must surely be one of the best placed hotels in the world. Beautiful rooms and a fantastically helpful staff who really cooperated with one another in making things perfect. Metred taxis provided very economical travel as required.
The place is a small(16 rooms) jewel situated in the Asian side of the city. It has a great location on the Bosphuros. Rooms are big, clean with lots of amenities and with great views of the European side of Istanbul. But the most amazing asset is the personal and extraordinary services. Starting with our great front desk manager, Levent Bey, who took care of all reservations including sea taxis, tours, local restaurants, best times to visit local historic places, etc. In the restaurant, Shain and Georsch- I hope those are close to the right spelling - provided super services and were always attentive to our requests. In few words, the place is a most if you go to Istanbul.
Istanbul is a place where you look for authentic atmosphere. Being settled on the bank of Bosporus Asian side this hotel is a perfect match. This used to be a house of Ahmed Rasim Pasha and its very specific in its originality. All rooms are different, staff is very helpful and demonstrates the best of Turkish hospitality. Breakfast is superb - all food is very fresh and high quality. And you can enjoy it on the terrace watching ferries and boats passing by. Recommended for weekend breaks.
